Location

Strategically located in the centre of the Es Canar resort, a mere 200 m from its magnificent sandy beach, the hotel is within walking distance of the renowned Hippy Market and just 5 km from the nearby town of Santa Eulalia. Ibiza Airport is 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 2 lifts and features 123 rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. The hotel provides a baggage storage service, a car hire service, medical assistance and a laundry service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.

Rooms

    Ava in the dining room is moody and strops around doing her job, if I had to guess I would say she doesn’t like her job! Yesterday I tried filling up a small 500ml water bottle with water, I was snarled at no and walked to the wall where she repeatedly banged on the wall to a sign saying it is against Spanish law to take food or drink out of the restaurant! I reminded her I wanted water nothing else in my 500ml bottle but again she banged and said no!     Positive- wonderful breakfast, great housekeeping, daily housekeeping to high standard.Staff friendly and helpful.Negative- noisy guest ,doors slamming, drunken guest very loud. Open smoking of cannabis, around the pool and in their rooms. Constant stink of skunk cannabis.Area was good for eating out with many hidden gems, some excellent restaurants. Hippy Market very good and worth the walk, carry on straight past in the evening to next beach for the most amazing Paellas. Jungle bar is unique for cocktails and friendly atmosphere.     Stayed in apartment. No cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery. Kettle had to be boiled on the floor.     I wouldn’t give this hotel four stars — it’s just too old-fashioned, more retro than glamorous. But a solid “three plus” is well deserved.Let’s start with the good: it’s surprisingly quiet here even in peak season — as if all the tourists got lost on their way. The sunbeds are comfortable, the umbrellas are practically small tents, and the pool is spotless, as if scrubbed with a toothbrush. The staff are friendly, and while dinner isn’t haute cuisine, a couple of dishes could easily make it into a family recipe book. Rooms are cleaned daily, and it shows. The sea is three steps away, the shop four, and for peace and quiet you don’t have to move at all. For families with kids — absolute heaven.But… there are a few quirks. The interior feels like grandma’s summer house, the air conditioner sounds like an airplane taking off, and dinner only starts at 7 p.m. — for those who don’t eat after six, it’s basically a midnight snack. Kids’ club? Apparently disguised as a storage room.     Great no frills hotel

    Great no frills hotel we’ve stay in a few times and returning in July and September.Looked like there was improvement works going on which is positive as the hotel is a bit dated. Rooms are a good size and comfortable beds, well cleaned. No plug in bath or sink which was strange but I’m sure if we’d asked one would be provided. Pool area is lovely and quiet, no reserved sun beds, hopefully this continues throughout the season. Lifeguard is very helpful and attentive and adheres to the pool rules, hopefully he would stop any sun bed reserving in busy season. It’s nice to stay at a hotel where you don’t have to get up early, we could walk to the pool anytime and be guaranteed a sun bed. Plenty of parasols although tricky to open, lifeguard always on hand to help. Staff reminded guests that own drinks are not allowed. Snack bar is really reasonable priced, we ate a few times and the staff are the friendliest I’ve ever come across, always greet you politely and very helpful. Maids also do a great job. We stayed bed and breakfast but didn’t really have breakfast often, seemed a fair choice. We preferred lunch at the snack bar if we were hungry. Lots of great bars and restaurants, our favourites Marvent on the front and Rio’s just past the Ereso, they do the most amazing homemade curries. We look forward to our return to the Atlantic and Es Cana.
