Location

The beach hotel is located in the centre of San Antonio de Portmany. Just 5 minutes' walk from the nearest beaches and promenade, guests can walk from Sa Punta d'es Moli along along the marvelous bay until reaching the area of Ses Variades known for its sunset cafes from where guests can enjoy the magical sunsets. Guests will find shops, bars and vibrant nightlife within a couple of minutes' walk as well as the colourful hippie markets where guests can learn first hand the wonderful craftsmanship of locals. The hotel is just 5 minutes' walk from the bus station or the port of San Antonio. The Eden and Es Paradis nightclubs are 500 metres from the hotel and Kumharas is around 2 km away. The city of Ibiza is a 20-minute drive.

Facility

19 single rooms and 123 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine.     From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcome – especially thanks to Javier at the reception, who made the check-in quick, friendly, and professional. The breakfasts and dinners were really quite good, with a great variety of options every day.A big thank you to the amazing restaurant team — Agus, Paqui, Carmen, and Milagros — for their outstanding and always professional service. You truly make every meal a pleasure!Director Alejandro was very helpful with my requests before arrival — his communication was immediate, professional, and always positive.Also, a special mention to the cleaning ladies, who always greet guests nicely in the corridors and ask if anything needs to be cleaned. Their work is done to the highest standard — simply perfect!The pool area is great too, with a bar serving delicious burgers, pizzas, and Spanish specialties — all of which I had the pleasure to enjoy more than once.I’ll definitely come back again and can highly recommend Hotel Tropical to anyone visiting Ibiza!

    Great location, the staff were really friendly and breakfast had a good selection. Did have a problem one evening with a very large intoxicated gentlemen resembling Andre the giant kicking off but luckily police were called and dealt with situation accordingly. Be definitely staying again

    We stayed at the hotel for three nights as a party of 5. We had three rooms. We booked through love holidays and stayed bed and breakfast. The hotel is in an amazing location. You can walk to the marina and strip within minutes and it’s close to Ibiza rocks and some of the bigger clubs on the main front. The rooms are basic but comfortable, the whole hotel is very clean and well looked after. The staff are friendly and work hard. The bed was comfortable. The air con worked well. The view from the room wasn’t great but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway! There is a TV, tea and making facilities, fridge, safe and hairdryer. The bathrooms have been renovated and are modern and clean. They provide a few, small towels. You can hire beach towels for 10 euros.The breakfast was ok. Some random things, such as chicken nuggets, but the pastries, fruit and breads were lovely. We didn’t have any other meals here.The pool is over the road but is good. Large and clean with enough sun beds for everyone. There is a pool bar and snack bar there, with toilets and shower. There is a luggage room for use after check out and an area where you can sit. We would return to this hotel, due to the cleanliness and location.

    Hotel staff is wonderful 5/5! The room is very basic and I regret we did not pay extra for a room with balcony. We were unable to dry our towels and bathing suit. On top the room was very humid due to no vebtilation and warm humid weather. Outside parking is easy to find but you cannot pay for 1 day only for 2h. Free parking from 21h-9h. The food was basic but correct for what we paid. Via booking.com €260/ night for a triple room last week August.

    Stayed here for 3 nights with a friend and was pleasantly surprised for a 3 star. Normally stay in 4 or 5 star resorts but with us having a party holiday in San Antonio we opted for a budget option. Hotel is in a great location, very clean, beds were made every day. Food was OK nothing special. Only thing i would have liked is a balcony, our room didnt have one and the windows overlooked a building site. Some of the rooms have much better views and balcony options but as we didnt spend enough time in the room it was ok for the time we were there. Would definitely come back.
