    Wow, what an amazing experience! The personal attention we received was above expectations! Our host Giuseppe was so informative, friendly and always greeted us throughout our entire visit. We had an early transfer one morning before breakfast and a small breakfast with pastries and coffee was prepared specifically for us. We felt the rooftop bar was way overpriced and the service was lacking. A very small 3/4 oz pour of house wine was 20 euros. Also, the food at the restaurant across the street that seems to be part of the hotel was average at best. Otherwise, the hotel itself was amazing!!

    I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. From the moment we stepped into the hotel until the moment we left we were treated like the most important people in the world. The staff and service are amazing! The hotel is beautiful and has the most relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Our room was perfect, so clean and fresh. The pool area is in the middle of orange trees and even the gym is in the perfect spot overlooking the pool with walls that open. The location is stunning and we watched the sun set every night from our balcony. We visited the spa after a long travel day and it was the perfect refresh. There was even a wedding one night and the resort was still peaceful and quiet. You really do get so much value when you stay here. There is a shuttle that takes you into the main square of Sorrento and if you need any help with transportation or activities they are eager to help. Every staff member is on point and I can definitely agree that this is a 5 star property. We cannot wait to go back.

    A spectacular family experience in Sorrento

    We had a spectacular stay at Hotel Mediteranneo for spring break. We had a family room, as we were traveling with young children and it was perfect for our needs - immaculate and spacious. Though traveling with children, we never felt disruptive, and were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. We did not anticipate the weather to be warm enough to use the pool as much as we did, but we ended up being so happy to have it as a relaxing spot after long days of exploring. While a bit of a distance from the center of town, the shuttle was great and we didn't mind the walk, which we found to be easy and scenic. We personally preferred the quiet of our neighborhood, and took advantage of the restaurant across the street when we didn't feel like going into town. A major highlight was concierge staff, who were exceptionally warm and welcoming and provided us with great guidance and recommendations. They set up a private boat ride to Capri on one of the hotel yachts, which was a highlight of our 10 days in Italy, and was a seamless experience. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfasts overlooking the Mediterranean, and the attentive and helpful pool staff when we needed a coffee or apperitivo. All in all our trip was perfect, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sorrento and looking for a luxurious but authentic and laid back experience. The ONLY downside was that the beach club doesn't open until May, but we knew this when planning our trip, and most other hotels seemed to be operating on a similar timeline. We'll just have to go back to check it out!

    We fell in love with the Mediterraneo in 2016, The views are amazing, the resort is top shelf! Beautiful. The best part are the people that worked there. Mr. Aniello & his team are there for anything you need? Breakfast overlooking the Gulf of Naples, with the kindest caring breakfast team of people is the only way to start the day!     I can’t put into words how perfect our stay has been, we came here to begin our honeymoon and it was a dream come true. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with amazing views and stunning, clean and comfortable rooms. The pool area is clean and the cocktails and food are excellent, especially the special raspberry daiquiri the barman made for me! The staff are second to none, they are friendly, polite and very attentive. Nothing is too much to ask, we were provided with a timetable of the local ferry times and the two ladies at the reception booked our ferry tickets for us! They also assisted us with booking our train tickets for when we leave - they went above and beyond (apologies I forget their names!). Giuseppe is also amazing, answering all of our questions (and there were many!) and also just being approachable and friendly. He gave us recommendations for restaurants to visit on the second half of our trip and put our minds at ease about using the trains.Overall this trip has been phenomenal and most of it is down to the lovely, attentive staff who work so hard.
