    Beware very poor

    rating07 Jun 2026

This was advertised as a 4• not a chance it’s more like a 2• the so called mini bar in the room considering of 2 waters and 2 cans of pop for 1 day only. The hotel is very dated and dirty, there is never a live guard on (not safe)There’s nothing to do around the place the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The so called private beach is dirty plus if you want a sun bed it’s €10 each. The to and phone doesn’t work in the room in fact this is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever spent time in.The food is terrible and cold we have had items stolen from our room and reception don’t care.Beware of this hotel do not book oh ye fancy a bit of food poisoning try there meat Invisa Hoteles, Other at Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca, responded to this review Dear Jeff, We are sorry your stay at the Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca did not meet expectations. We take your concerns about the minibar value, room condition, safety, beach charges, service, and food seriously. We’re addressing housekeeping, maintenance and security issues and reviewing policies to prevent recurrence. If you can share your booking details, we’d like to discuss options to make this right. Again, we are sorry that you did not fully enjoy your vacation due to the issues mentioned.Best regards

    Really enjoyable stay

    rating03 Jun 2026

Just got back from an excellent week at Cala Blanca. We were all inclusive party of 10 6 adults and 4 children ages 6-11 years. The hotel was super clean and tidy, rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels daily and beds made. Hotel facilities were brilliant and the bar staff were all really friendly and great with the children too. Plenty of pools to choose from and there were no sun bed wars! The beach was lovely and only a short walk down some steps but could also be easily accessed via ramp. Food was great and each night was a theme in the main restaurant e.g. Spanish night, Mexican night, American night. All buffet style with plenty of choice. The entertainment team were incredible and definitely made our stay memorable. The Lion King show and The Musical show are not ones to miss! They had daily activities/ games around the pools from aerobics, water polo, beer pong etc. creating such a lively fun atmosphere. All shows finished around 10:30pm so no noise was hear for those wanting to get an earlier night. The only down side is that the hotel is located far away from any outside night life but there a few shops just outside of the hotel and you can also use the facilities of the sister hotel next door. There are buses to go to the Hippy markets and shopping centres and other day trips which are really cheap from around €2.50. All in it was a great hotel and a lovely stay. Invisa Hoteles, Other at Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca, responded to this review Hi Heather,Thank you for choosing Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca for your week away and for sharing such a detailed, glowing review. We’re thrilled you and your family had an enjoyable stay. It’s wonderful to hear the hotel was spotless day after day, with daily room cleaning and fresh towels, and that the kids felt well looked after by our friendly team. We’re also glad you enjoyed the variety of pools, easy beach access, and the themed dinners that added fun each evening.Hearing that the entertainment team created lasting memories with The Lion King and The Musical shows, along with the daily pool activities, makes us incredibly proud. We’re happy the shows finished around 10:30pm so guests who prefer an earlier night could rest peacefully. We understand the location is a bit removed from nightlife, but we’re glad you found the nearby shops and the sister hotel’s facilities convenient, and that the bus connections offered easy day trips to places like the Hippy Market. We’d love to welcome you back, whether here in Cala Blanca or at another hotel in our group. Until next time, safe travels.

Beautiful Location, Great Food and Fantastic Entertainment

    rating31 May 2026

My wife stayed here with our two daughters (4 & 8) and mother-in-law for 5 nights. It was remote, but that made it perfect, with its private beach overlooked by the main restaurant. Absolute bliss! The hotel was perfect for families and couples alike, with its many pools (including an adults-only pool) and a heated indoor pool. The kids (and I) loved the pirate pool. With a convenient pool bar and restroom facilities, it was perfect. Although somewhat out of the way and seemingly separate from the main premises, once we discovered it, we visited every day.The main restaurant is perfectly situated overlooking the gorgeous beach, with several access points via steps (slope access is available at the far end of the beach near the shops). The food was excellent, with a tasty spin on paella each day alongside plenty of other options, including lasagne, burgers and various pasta dishes. The pizzas were interesting; they always seemed to be cold, but were still tasty. There was always a good selection of meats and fish. The desserts were plentiful, although the selection felt quite repetitive throughout our stay. The absolute pinnacle of the holiday was the entertainment team. The evening entertainment was consistently brilliant. The pièce de résistance was The Lion King show. It was truly breathtaking. I'd have happily paid to watch it in the West End. The costumes, staging and sound were absolutely remarkable -- honestly, impeccable. We had a pool-view room which, for the most part, was excellent. The room was spacious and well laid out, with plug sockets where you need them, along with plenty of table and storage space. The only significant downside was the shower. The temperature fluctuated unpredictably between hot and cold, which was particularly frustrating when helping our young daughter shower. We also found that water regularly escaped onto the bathroom floor, leaving it quite wet after use. While the food was generally very good, the puddings were somewhat lacking. They felt very similar from day to day, often consisting of a tangy cream topping on jelly or mousse, along with a selection of cakes that didn't particularly appeal to us. I mostly stuck to the ice cream.Across the street from the hotel are two shops selling souvenirs and essentials, along with a conveniently placed ATM. The ATM charged €4.95 per withdrawal, which initially seemed steep until I discovered the ATM inside the hotel charged around €9. The shops were well stocked and ideal for picking up water, snacks and gifts.Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and a much-needed break. The location, beach, pools, food and entertainment made for a fantastic family holiday. While there were a few issues with the room and the desserts didn't quite live up to the rest of the dining experience, they didn't detract significantly from our stay. Although we tend to try somewhere new each year, I would happily recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing beach holiday. Invisa Hoteles, Other at Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca, responded to this review Dear Mark,Thank you so much for choosing Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca for five nights and for sharing such a detailed, heartfelt review. We’re thrilled that you and your family enjoyed the setting overlooking the beach, the variety of pools (including the adults-only and heated indoor options), and the fantastic entertainment, especially the Lion King show. It’s wonderful to hear the pirate pool was a highlight for the kids and that the restaurant and views added to your relaxation. We’re sorry to hear about the shower temperature fluctuations and the bathroom floor getting a bit wet. Your comments have been shared with our maintenance team to prevent this from happening again, and we’ll also pass along your feedback about the desserts so our culinary team can keep the options fresh and appealing. If you ever crave a bit more comfort, our Inspire rooms offer additional facilities and advantages that you can explore discreetly on our website. We’d love to welcome you back, whether here in Cala Blanca or at another one of our hotels in the group.

We stayed here as a family of five with children aged 4, 7 and 12

    rating24 May 2026

The accommodation itself was good. We had a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment which was modern, clean and had a nice balcony. The layout worked really well for a family. The only issue was that the shower in the master bedroom leaked, and the room was very cold for the first few nights, meaning we had to request extra blankets. Whilst modern, the room did feel a little plain. The hotel’s biggest strengths are its location and entertainment. Being right on the beach was lovely. The sea was crystal clear, full of fish, and there was a small pier you could walk along. There are sunbeds and umbrellas available, although these are charged at €10 per sunbed and €10 per umbrella! We also loved the little beach café which served freshly squeezed orange juice for around €4.The entertainment team were absolutely fantastic and were the highlight of our holiday. Their energy was incredible and the evening shows were genuinely impressive. We don’t normally stay up for hotel entertainment, but we watched it every night. The Lion King show in particular was brilliant. The pools were disappointing. Apart from the indoor pool, they were absolutely freezing. My children regularly came out with blue lips and struggled to stay in for long. The pirate ship pool looks amazing in photos, but in reality it mainly sprays freezing cold water from every direction, making it difficult for younger children to enjoy. On the positive side, there was never any issue finding sunbeds.Food was average. There was plenty available, but it became repetitive very quickly. There was a lot of pork, pasta and paella throughout the week. I enjoyed the paella, although I didn’t think the seafood used was particularly good quality. The meat was often tough and fatty, and desserts were generally variations of coloured sponge cake with cream. The dining room itself felt dated, dark and not particularly welcoming, while the children’s food area gave us strong Butlins vibes.Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the service. The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and gave us a great first impression, and the gentleman welcoming guests into the restaurant was also friendly. However, most other interactions with staff were surprisingly negative. One evening there were no clean tables available in the restaurant, only tables covered in dirty plates and leftover food. I picked up two plates to try to clear a space for my family and a staff member named Louisa came over, grabbed them from me, shook her head and tutted. When I politely asked where she would have preferred me to put them, she ignored the question and continued shaking her head. She then spent the remainder of our meal glaring in our direction. This behaviour continued throughout the week and even my daughter was like “mum that lady’s staring at us again”.Other staff members were similarly unfriendly. My youngest daughter happily waved and said hello to a member of staff clearing tables, only to be met with a scowl. Another member of staff working at the pool bar regularly slammed drinks onto the counter and was abrupt with guests. It created an atmosphere that felt quite uncomfortable at times. This was the younger guy, the older guy was much nicer and seemed a bit embarrassed by the younger guys behaviour. One staff member who deserves special mention is the massage therapist. I paid €80 for a one-hour massage and it was worth every cent. She was incredibly kind, professional and gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had.The location is nice if you’re looking for a beach holiday, but there isn’t much within walking distance beyond a couple of shops, a vegan restaurant and the beach itself. The nearest town is around a 10–15 minute bus ride away and is well worth visiting, with a beautiful beach, plenty of restaurants and a fantastic ice cream shop.Overall, we had some lovely moments thanks to the beach, entertainment team and family time together. However, the poor attitude of several staff members had a significant impact on our experience. Sadly, because of this, we would not return. Invisa Hoteles, Other at Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca, responded to this review Dear Lily,Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re glad to hear that the location, the family-friendly two-bedroom layout, and the entertainment team contributed to some wonderful moments for your family, and that your kids enjoyed the shows. We’re really sorry about the issues you faced. The leaking shower and the cooler first nights aren’t the experience we aim to provide. We’ve alerted our maintenance team to investigate the shower and our team to review heating and extra blankets so future guests stay comfortable.Your comment about the room feeling a bit plain is noted. If you’re ever back, you might consider our Inspire rooms, which offer additional facilities and advantages. You can find more details about them on our website. We also apologise for the less friendly interactions you describe. This is not acceptable, and we will share your feedback with management to reinforce our service standards. On a positive note, we’re pleased the massage therapist delivered an excellent experience, and we’ll pass along your kind words to her.Regarding the pools and dining, we understand the water temperature and ambiance didn’t meet your expectations. Sunbeds and umbrellas are managed by an external partner and incur a fee, which may vary by season and location.Thank you again for your honest feedback. All the best.
