    Loved it

    rating26 Jun 2025

I have to say that I am a culprit at writing reviews when I have had a bad experience but this time I had to write a honest review of a holiday we enjoyed. One thing is, yes it’s built on a hill so a lot of walking around to your room but they do have golf buggy’s that will take you there and back when you call. Myself and my husband were lucky we had a room 1013 which was just opposite the tennis courts and not far from reception. Amazing views. The room was okay in size for us. It was spotless, clean bedding daily, as well as towels. An amazing comfortable bed which you did fall asleep as soon as you hit the pillows which were very plump and soft. Only negative is the double bed is two singles pushed together which you generally get most hotels but we had to stay on our sides of the bed. Nice clean bathroom with a great power shower and the water was so soft for hair and skin.Large tv, not many Uk tv channels but I just put it on for back ground noise.Check in was easy, arrived 3 hours before check in and was told our room was ready.Wrist bands on ready to use the all inclusive facilities. The reception staff are amazing and whatever we asked was met with a professional attitude. The restaurant.Loved it……I have been to quite a few places in the balarics and Canary Islands and this is the best.So much to choose from.Salads - amazing choice of around 15 different dishes. Of course, fries and pizza, calamari Then you get your meat dishes from stews, to duck dishes to potato bravas, rice etc, the. Your grilled veg, grilled meat and grilled fish, fresh bread, you then get paella every night but they tend to mix it up with a meat paella with rice and a macaroni pasta with seafood. Both tasted great. You then during the week had sushi, kebab meat, chilli, nachos. Etc.You then had cheese section and then desserts which there was a lot of, you even had a selection of ice creams and whippy machine as well as toppings to choose from. The soups were also amazing.Breakfast was the same daily but again a lot of choice.Your choice of Cold meats/cheesePancakes with toppings Waffles BaconScrambled Eggs Fried eggs Omelettes Baked beans Tomatoes Mushrooms Hash brownsFries (random but it happens)Choose breads and toast Lots of fresh fruits and cereal and yougurts. Also if you like it, you can have cava with your breakfast if you fancy daily.Only issue now is the drinks. They are machines. The orange juice is way too sweet, I didn’t try the apple and pineapple so I ended up with water. The tea, awful, please bring PG tips with you, trust me you will thank me.Tbh, I would bring coffee with you too, I personally don’t drink coffee but my husband does and you cannot get aGood cup. Bring your own, they have hot water, milk and sugar. Your sorted.Pool areas. There are 3, the children’s area, which I felt was amazing, I only say this as IImagine my 13 month old grandson being there and he would have loved it.Lots of jets spraying out of planes and I could see kids loved it.Next was a deep pool nearly 3m depth. Then below was a slightly shallower poolBut still deep enough. Right next to the bar.The top pool was open at 10am compared to to the others which were open at 9am everyday. We choose this area mostly because of the double beds that surrounded the area. These were comfortable and relaxing. The pools though are freezing. Just wish in non summer peak months they would heat them a little. One thing I have to praise is each pool area is gated off, so no need to get up extra early and reserve those sunbeds. Just get there before opening time.Smoking areas are outside the general areas but not too far away if you are smoker.Entertainment Shocking If you have children that are young then you are in. If not go out, be prepared to spend a taxi fair into san an. 8 euros each way but plenty of bars and shops Too tips for the hotel Make the top pool area with the beds, adults only, we want to relax and it’s designed for that, don’t want children running around you when your relaxing especially when they have another 3 pools to choose from. Better entertainment in the evening. Start children’s club around 7:30 for an hour or have this is the other stage area and have adult entertainment. We have stayed while they are building next to it, which some didn’t complain about, we were not bothered as very interesting to see this beautiful 5 star outdoor club/restaurant being built.Would we come again, most definitely and will recommend it. Enjoy your holiday, we did, a married couple going on holiday with another couple. Lots of laughter, I even lost my voice due to it.

    Lovely relaxing stay

    rating14 Sept 2024

We had a great view from our room (36) and the room was very clean and comfortable. My only point to make on the room is that they are not sound proofed, you can hear people chatting in the neighbouring rooms, thankfully they weren’t noisy. We had a little walk to the restaurant which was hilly but we didn’t mind and you could call for a pick up if needed. It wasn’t an issue for us, we enjoyed the walk. The restaurant food was good, decent options. We stayed all inclusive and this worked for us. Nice wine and beer. Pool was great, nice atmosphere, friendly vibe. Opening and closing times were slightly restricted 9-7 but not an issue. Staff were lovely from the drivers to housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff to concierge, very friendly and welcoming. Great stay!

    rating01 Sept 2024

With most holidays everyone’s expectations are all different based on each experience. We couldn’t fault the hotel. We had a sea view room which meant this was at the top of the hill (the view was incredible day and evening). Yes the hill was a killer each time but after your meal it’s just what we needed. The food was brilliant, a good selection for everybody each day. Drinks were Estrella, Prosecco, wines and local spirits (even Prosecco at breakfast). Our room was perfect, gorgeous view, the comfiest beds, very clean and was cleaned daily. We went to the sea view pool everyday and there was always a sun lounger for the 4 of us, the atmosphere was great with Pepe the bar DJ! All the staff were great and very welcoming. Entertainment was only really an hour a night but it was entertaining. Cala Gracio beach is a must visit for the sunset and it’s down the road. Overall we loved our stay and made some great memories. Poor hotel, never again.

    rating29 Aug 2024

Rundown hotel don’t know where to start. The hotel provides accommodation for around 1000 people so why is the pool space so small? The all inclusive drinks are very basic and the food was always cold. There were loads of bugs even in the daytime and I got bitten badly around the pool, we saw a woman at reception who was in a lot of pain from the amount of bug bites she got. This hotel says that it cases for all however do not go here unless you have children. There is nowhere for adults to enjoy themselves without having loads of children around and making noise. The entertainment is mediocre at best and the hotel facilities are extremely poor the only good thing about this hotel was the beds as they were quite comfortable, finally I would like to add that the pictures do not reflect the poor quality of the hotel- all bathroom was caked in mould and the cleaning services only come once every three days. Thank God we were on such a beautiful island and rented a car to get out and about, but I would not recommend this hotel to my enemy. Arletta Bowen, Guest Services / Front Office at Marble Stella Maris Ibiza, responded to this review Dear Miss HannahGordon, Thank you for taking the time to post such a detailed review on your stay at Marble Stella Maris Ibiza. Each and every one of them allows us to improve on our services if and where necessary. The hotel is located in a vast, natural environment where guests and local little creatures co-exist. In compliance with hygiene and safety standards an external company assists in keeping insects and such under control. We would have loved hearing from you in this regards whilst you were here to take immediate action. We pride ourselves on welcoming families, couples and singles so that they can freely enjoy their holidays. Catering for all tastes can be a bit tricky, specially in high season, but of course we are open to hearing from you and learn if and where we can improve to be better for you and all of our guests. Looking forward to welcoming you again in the not so distant future to try to restore the "aftertaste" on your visit.

    Great holiday

    rating22 Aug 2024

A fantastic hillside resort great for a family holiday with improvements being made constantly. Single parent travelling with 2 teenagers we had a great time. Rooms are great and scattered around the resort. All clean and tidy with a fridge and air-conditioning. Great bathrooms and comfortable beds. The main hotel was a good 500 mtrs away down or up the hill depending.. Food was varied and a great choice for all.. 2 carnivores and 1 vegetarian had no issues.. Breakfast always great. Pools clean and tidy.. Drinks service great we went all inclusive. Thanks to all especially Laurena in the restaurant. There is a bus into San Antonio 4 times a day.. try and be at the bus stop 15 mins before.. In the height of the season you can catch the 20:30 (15) get off after hotel TrS and then walk the sunset strip to Mambo or Del Mar... If you are adults alone the Hostal La Torre is a 15 min walk and a perfect romantic sunset setting.
