Location

The complex is situated directly on the beach, set back in beautiful Punta Xinxó Bay, and is ideal for children as there are no roads to cross to reach the beach and the waters are always calm.

Facility

300 rooms and 155 apartments are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Guests can browse a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge.     We stayed at the Playa Bella Apartments at the end of October for 1 week. First thing, these apartments are next to a derelict hotel however it was not an issue for us and also not a fault of the hotel. Prior to arrival I requested a sea view. They politely advised they would try but could not promise. We arrived just after lunch time and you cannot get your apartment until 3pm but you can check in and they have a left luggage room. The staff are very helpful. This hotel is very secure, you need your room card to access each separate block. We got a great 1 bedroom apartment with a huge balcony and sea view. Our 18yr old slept on the sofa in the living area which was very comfy. We have 2 patio doors leading to our balcony, 1 from the bedroom and 1 from the living area. I don’t think there would be many apartments without a sea view. The apartments have everything you need and ours was clearly newly refurbished. The pool was nice with plenty of sun-beds, the beach was smallish but ok (we had a lot of seaweed due to the time of year and storms out at sea). There are a few Spar shops in the local area but if you walk to the main one way road and turn right there is a large cheaper supermarket about 5mins walk away. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by although some had closed due to it being the end of the season. It’s about a 40/50min walk to Cafe del Mar etc and it’s relatively flat. If you do walk pop in for an ice cream from DoDo, delicious! Overall a great hotel, fab apartments and I would definitely return.

    Awesome place to visitWe were a bit unsure about this place being on San antonio bay, but it is far enough away from the main nightlife that all you hear now and again ( if the wind is blowing in the right direction) a feint boom boom. nothing that would wake you up or disturb anything what so everApartment clean tidy Staff very very welcoming, Prices for food and drink very reasonalble100% will go back there again

    We found the playa bella very clean,with friendly staff ,great entertainment, the pool had a lifeguard in attendance all day, it's in a great position right on the beach, you can get a water taxi to take you across the bay to the busy san Antonio side ,excellent for families

    The hotel itself was nice and comfortable. All the staff were helpful and food was good. We arrived just after the storm so the beach was still recovering. Used water taxi to the other beaches and shopping area and walked 30 mins back along the coastline which wasn’t too bad.Sadly our room overlooked the half built derelict area along with all the homeless tents. This I found difficult and would actually stop me returning to this hotel. The people there were no trouble but i just couldn’t relax and it really wasn’t pretty. Had I been the other side looking onto the pool I would have felt more comfortable and felt that I was on holiday.

    Fantastic apartment's, all been refurbished, lovely staff, and good cleaners. Good food at restaurants as well, and good bar staff. Nice pool and plenty sun beds, even a splash pool for kids, and right next to beach as well 1 of our party fell ill and the owners and staff couldn't do enough to help us, a lot more helpful than Jet2.
