The hotel attracted us with its conditions and price. We arrived in the city by bus, so we had to walk to it. If you are driving, this hotel is an ideal option, because it is located on the outskirts. The outskirts of the city are not far from the center, because Baesa is a small town. The hotel looks unassuming, but comfortable. The hotel offers good facilities, a spacious room and even a rooftop pool, which was highly appreciated by my daughter. The views from the terrace to the olive gardens of Andalusia are impressive. Needless to say, everything is clean and the staff is polite and friendly.

Disappointed

The hotel had good reviews but we were disappointed. The room they gave us was dark and drab with no views in fact it was a disabled room. I had asked for a room with a shower as I had had a hip operation only 2 weeks before but I didn’t expect to get a disabled room. The breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. There was a shortage of staff as the person looking after reception was doing everything else as well. Restaurant not open and had to walk into town which was about 15 mins walk for evening meal.

Hello! First of all thank for your time and review. As soon as we get noticed that our guest may have some mobility problems we provide them with one of our special rooms, with adapted bathroom and in the main floor (which may be the explanation of the "darkness and no views")We are 500 meters from the city center, that's true as you can see in the map, but if you didn't want to go there for an evening meal, there are some restaurants closer, just going out from our hotel, two minutes away.Thank you very much for your visit.

Great location for the historic sights of Baeza

It seems at first as if you are out of the way but actually the old market place which has a decent selection of restaurants and bars is only a short walk away. Likewise the tourist office and the Puerta de Jaen which dates from 1526, the old university and cathedral. There is a rooftop pool and solarium but we weren't able to take advantage of these as we were only there for three nights and there's a lot to see between Baeza & Udeda. Our room was on the 2nd floor on the side of the hotel that has open views which seem to go on forever. The room was spacious and comfortable, sufficient electrical sockets, air-con, good wifi and there was a hairdryer in the bathroom. We had breakfast included and the only thing about it that we weren't happy with was the coffee from the self-service machine - but you can buy coffee at the bar or use the decaff sachets and the hot water for making tea. There was a good selection of bread & rolls (some sweet, some not), meats, cheese, pate, jams, fruit, fried eggs & bacon. The bar is open throughout and serves snacks as well as drinks but the Asador on the rooftop is only open at weekends, so you do need to go out for full meals; that said there is a place almost directly opposite and one on the next corner up if you don't want to walk into town. The staff were friendly and coped admirably with my poor Spanish

I loved this hotel. Amazing views! Roof terrace and pool, small pool.Room, large, clean and comfortable beds. Air con, and Wi-fi. Parking available. Restaurants only a 2 min walk away. Staff were ok, could of done with a couple of customer service skills of a smile would of been nice. Young lad on reception was very helpful. Good bar and lovely breakfast.Would definitely go back to this hotel. Baeza itself, fascinating little town.

Well located just a few minutes walk into main square and old town where restaurants and bars are. Hotel clean and modern facilities. Rooms large and well appointed at very reasonable cost. Staff very accommodating and professional also hardworking as receptionist was working both the desk and the breakfast room. Breakfast adequate for price mainly continental with eggs and bacon, sausages in bainmarie. On road parking free and undercover parking at €8.50 per night. Lovely rooftop terrace and small swimming pool for a refreshing dip in the extreme heat. Baeza beautiful town so both town and hotel highly recommended
