Take responsibility for your bad communication

    rating03 Apr 2024

I found this hotel in the list of top 10 dog friendly hotels and booked it. After a 10 h drive we arrived and heard they do not accept dogs. The receptionist pretended not to speak English - sent us away (he even did NO effort whatsoever to understand our solve the problem) and did not reimburse my prepaid room. It was a cold and unfriendly experience.Never again!

    Urban hotel with good location

    rating14 May 2019

This is a middle-sized urban hotel with a great location just in the very centre of town, a few metres away from the Town Hall, the Corte Inglés shopping centre and the pedestrianised shopping streets. It´s a modern establishment although its decor has a classic taste. Everything seems to be practical but unexceptional. Good rooms and bathrooms, both impeccable clean, average beds. The atmosphere is quiet but my room was a bit noisy that afternoon for some time. Apparently, there´s a church near -or there was a religious event that day- and they spent about one hour using loudspeakers. Not ideal if you feel like relaxing, but it was just for one hour or so. No noise problems during the rest of my stay. The clientele seemed to be mostly national. There´s also in this hotel an underground parking with easy access, which is more convenient that the public parking facility in the nearby Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

    Not a four star hotel

    rating12 Mar 2017

I felt this hotel was overpriced for what it is. It's certainly not a four star hotel, as advertised. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower didn't work properly as the water kept running through the tap as well as the shower head so there wasn't much water pressure in the shower head. In addition to this, the shower door didn't close properly so the bathroom floor was soaked every time we showered. I didn't like the fact that all rooms faced onto an atrium which meant that the noise from all floors could be heard from our room. We were charged 10 Euros a night for the car park, which seems a little on the steep side. The breakfast was rather wanting given a lot of the buffet was not replenished quickly. The hotel was full due to an event, but this is no excuse. Dinner was lovely, although they did bring us our desserts before our main course one evening! The location is central and handy for the main shopping area. Overall, the hotel is quite old looking and could do with some updating in order to be considered a four star hotel and merit the prices it charges.

Simple, clean hotel. Nothing exceptional. But nice and quiet. Good value for what you pay. Service is very friendly. The location help a lot to discover the center of Linares. Walking distance to every where.

    Breakfast with body guards

    rating12 Dec 2015

The hotel is located right in the centre of Linares and has a convenient parking lot. Shopping area is within walking distance and there also a few restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.Room was spacious and clean, nothing to complain about. The surprise came at breakfast time. Breakfast is served at a separate room in the basement and is buffet style. As I had to leave early I was the first one at the breakfast room and was quite surprised that immediately afterwards a group of Spanish National Policemen turned up. First I thought of some kind of control and was looking for my ID card or maybe something happened at the hotel, but actually they just came for breakfast, occupying the table next to the buffet. Maybe they were on their night shift and just about to go home, which would explain that some of them hadn’t had a shower.Anyway, I finished my breakfast faster than usual and got on my way.
