  We actually did not stay in this hotel, but it surpasses its ranking with TripAdvisor. It is brilliant, 5* level and surely our destination now we know it.A highlight was the restaurant, Taberna Guadiana. Really brilliant food, very excellent service, and great value for money. Best carpaccio ever and delightful succulent grilled white shrimp. Must go pace, not found yet as restaurant on TA.

  Ubeda - Haven away from tourists

  We had a great stay at Palacio de Ubeda. Prior to going, we read a number of negative comments, but found nothing wrong at all with this hotel. Yes, the hotel could do with a new paint, but it was clean, spacious and met all our needs. Staff were very helpful. We loved Ubeda - such a haven away from the many tourists at other places in Spain. Such a delight to visit this city and stay at this central hotel.

  Excellent personal service and beautiful hotel. The staff could not do enough to help us and arranged a private dining experience. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend.Hotel provided valet parking.Very close to tapas bars and restaurants.   Awesome hotel!

  This was really memorable stay at this great palace. Which stayed for two nights and it was just right amount of time for Ubeda. November is a quiet time, but we loved it. It was still warm, both the weather and the service of the hotel. I highly recommend.   A bit disappointed

  Good location… rooms ok….but disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Tried to ring hotel over 20 times before arrival and also emailed them with no pickup/reply!!! It took them an hour to get WiFi sorted in our room whilst we were resting in it. The breakfast was poor - croissant stale, tea and coffee tasted awful. We would not stay there again. (We didn’t use pool or spa)
