By far not as good as during our earlier visit (unfortunately, as that's why we came back)

Ubeda is a must see and the parador itself is beautifully and conveniently located and clean with good Wifi. During our revisit to the hotel unfortunately the service let us down in several aspets (bar not open, no English by several (we're no English speakers ourselves), bar not open and not as nicely decorated as in the past). We stayed at two other paradores during this trip and although this was the paradore we'd looked forward to most, it 'ended last'.

An excellent Parador in a great location & a wonderful town.Ubeda has some great religious history & they are very proud to show it off. A very laid back culture. We were made to feel very welcome.There were subtle differences in restaurant service, but once we got used to that it was a great experience.

amazing building/ hotel in a quite part of town, amazing room, with garden acess and comfortable bed. All staff we encountered were polite and helpful.

Tour of Andalusia stop.

Location is the best. We were on a Rick Steves tour of Andalusia and Ubeda was our second stop. Literally a palace converted into a hotel. Location is amazing, as is Ubeda. A somewhat undiscovered town. Amazing history and beautiful surroundings. Hotel had large rooms and baths, many with views of the square. Breakfast was very good. Hotel also offered drinks and dinner if so desired. And has an elevator.
