Perfect location and great restaurant and cafeteria

The hotel was in a perfect location for visiting all the sights in the old town. We were pleased with the room and the whole experience especially the tranquility of sitting in the courtyard and having a drink or just relaxing. We found the hotel restaurant to be of excellent value and quality especially the ‘sandwich de casa’ at lunchtime and the superb solmonillo with honey sauce st dinner time Hotel Manager, Owner at Hotel TRH Ciudad de Baeza, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your positive review. We are thrilled you chose our 16th-century convent setting for your Baeza exploration. It brings us joy that our central location served your sightseeing needs well and that your room met your expectations. We especially appreciate you highlighting the peaceful courtyard moments, preserving that serene atmosphere for relaxation is central to our heritage. Your praise for our culinary team and their creations like the honey-glazed steak and signature sandwich truly motivates us to keep blending tradition with innovation. We look forward to welcoming you back for another excellent experience with us.Kind regards,MARIA OGEDA CASTILLA, Manager

Centrally licated, noisy.

centrally located, noisy hotel. There is no other option than all tiles and marble on the floor and wall, which resonates enormously. And why do people always have to slam doors? I would inform my guests' to this upon check-in. breakfast is ok. parking space under the hotel, it takes some searching and fitting and measuring with the car. Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Hotel TRH Ciudad de Baeza, responded to this review Dear Guest,We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave this review about your recent visit. We are glad to hear that you appreciated our central location, which allows our guests to easily explore the beautiful city of Baeza. Our hotel is indeed situated in a historic building, which features marble and tile flooring as part of its unique charm. We understand that this can sometimes cause noise, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay.We are pleased to know that you found our breakfast satisfactory and were able to make use of the parking facilities available at our hotel. We will take your feedback regarding door slamming into consideration and will work on ways to remind our guests to be mindful of noise levels. We hope to welcome you back.Best wishes,

Listen to your clientele, please

Big hotel, former convent, smack in the middle of the medieval town of Baeza. Reception people: friendly, helpful. Rooms are reasonably big, slightly outdated and definately worn. Bathrooms are fine. The corridors are long ( former convent, indeed) and echo every footstep - very audibly. The breakfast is good and varied, the breakfast room, the lobby, the restaurant and the bar are austerely furnished, without a trace of homeliness or cozyness. This place caters mainly to big (bus-) travelgroups - and obviously no one expects you to stay more than one more night. The wifi system is a disaster. It is wholly inadequate in capacity and speed for such a big place. It hardly works, and it has not worked well for quite some time now ( we were told by a staff member) Read the older comments on Tripadvisor: this has been going on for some time now. Listen to your clients, please. A system upgrade is a relatively small investment. For now, you get one dot only from us because of poor client orientation. TRH CIUDAD DE BAEZA TRHBAEZA, General Manager at Hotel TRH Ciudad de Baeza, responded to this review Dear customer I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused by the problem with the wifi. We are waiting for the technical service to give us the solution.

Noisy room
20 Oct 2022
Generally a good experience. However, be aware that the rooms facing the road outside were and probably always are very noisy. The sound of cars driving past and people walking and talk seemed to go on all night. It was the worst night's sleep of our trip. TRH CIUDAD DE BAEZA TRHBAEZA, General Manager at Hotel TRH Ciudad de Baeza, responded to this review Thank you for your comment.

Good looking place

Very nice place. The building is beautiful, ideally located. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was generous, the staff was friendly. We decided to treat ourselves with an extra night. The only down side: the parking has a really narrow and difficult access, we were not comfortable to use it and went to the public garage at walking distance.
