  A friendly spotless hotel in a great location

  We booked The Galua Hotel for a two week stay to celebrate both our birthdays. We booked on a full board basis. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are sad to be home. The hotel was spotlessly clean in a fantastic location with beautiful views. The food was wonderful and if like me you like really hot food there was a microwave so you could warm it for just a minute which didn’t spoil the quality. We did not eat out at all as we know you cannot get any better in the area than the hotel served - we previously had an apartment in the area. The staff were so nice to everyone and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our cleaning lady did a lovely towel display for my birthday and we each got a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to help us celebrate - a lovely touch. There were a few conventions while we were there but these did not interfere with our stay. We were well looked after by the restaurant staff. The spa was small but good and I experienced the best pedicure from Maria I had ever had. Our daughter and granddaughter arrived after a few days for a surprise and loved it so much they are coming back with the whole family at the end of August. We really hope we will return again.   Warm and friendly check in Hotel spotlessly clean everywhere The room was comfortable with a terrace the views are breathtaking There is a fridge in the room , bring a small kettle if you like your early coffee The food is great good choices everyday and they cater for dietary needs All the staff are warm and friendly There is a gym and massage areaYou have to book the gym which works and the massage is fantastic and very reasonable priced Drinks are reasonably priced There is an outside bar area and games area all clean the staff are lovely Beautiful swimming pools which are staffed daily by a lovely lady towels are also available for the pool area A fantastic hotel with really lovely staff and great facilities I would highly recommend this hotel Amanda Gato, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Servigroup Galua, responded to this review Dear Kim, Thank you very much for your kind words, we are delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience, our main goal is to create unforgettable moments for our guests, and we are very happy to know that with you we have achieved this.   Very nice people. Accommodations not so much. AC barely works in multple rooms that we occupied. They only have a cafeteria and food was average. I would not recommend at all. Lower your expectations. You cannot make any changes to your reservations, it's pay up front and if you want to leave early and go unto your next destination, you are out of luck.   Could not fault the hotel...

  Experience here was lovely. A very well decorated, modern hotel. Located well. Not too much around but enough - perfect access to the beach too. Clean rooms. Food was good, variety for all. Facilities were just as was needed. The only point of feedback really would be a lack of English speaking staff which was a problem at some points, other than that it was a 10/10 stay.
