  Nice hotel at affordable prices in walking distance to Mar Menor

  I arrived at 2 AM and met a very nice night watchman in the reception. He pointed out parking spaces for me and gave me a lot of useful information. This was in the period when the water was closed in the whole area. But hotel Traiña had their own water tank so lack of water in the taps luckily was not an issue. Everything in the bathroom worked fine.Rooms are spacious, there is a fridge containing two small bottles of cold drinking water. My window was overlooking the backyard and that made my nights and mornings very peaceful. Breakfast was all good. Only thing I would like to see different was that plant milk was not in the fridge, so it was warm. There could be some more options for vegetarians, but I managed to get a nice start for the day with jam and cheese for my bread.The beds gave me good sleep at affordable price. I would gladly choose this hotel over again.

  Great location 10 minutes from beach and 5 minutes from Dia supermarket Front desk staff were wonderful, friendly and really helpful Housekeeping was excellent, hotel was immaculate, room spotlessly clean and had a fridge Room was large and comfortable with terrace with table and chairs Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold dishes We had the buffet dinner one night and it was good value with nice food and choice including a drink for 17 € Rooftop terrace is large with a bar and pool with sunbeds We thoroughly enjoyed our stay One word of caution, we were in 2 rooms and neither had walk-in shower so worth checking if mobility issues

  Good clean hotel, great location, basic but clean.4 stars I'm not sure but somewhere to get your head down for the night which is clean great value.Breakfast has room for improvement.

  Stayed here for 1 night in June 2025. The staff are really pleasant, helpful and attentive (Natalia on reception resolved a payment issue, quickly and efficiently without complaint)The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the terrace was exceptionally large for a hotel, with views for miles.The rooftop pool is a gem, with 360 views over Murcia and beyond.The real bonus for cyclists, is the secure cycle storage room within a large parking garage. This is ideal for cyclists with all tools, bike stand and pump provided for any maintenance. The room is locked and the key held at reception. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant but the cafe bar attached to the hotel was reasonable priced with a light breakfast, drinks and snacks. Having read some reviews on here about having dated furniture, I was expecting some issues, but although the furniture isn't ultra modern, it's all in good order and impeccably clean. And the furnishing is in keeping with the age of the building. Would I stay again? Definitely!

  Good points-Staff are all very helpful and friendly.Pool is nice and refreshing.Short walk to the beach.Quite hotel.Bed and pillows were excellent.Room and wrap around balcony were hugh.Bad points-Maintenance issues.Clothes wire to dry clothes on was against the red barrier so close rubbed up against it and turned red.Balcony door didn’t close properly.Outside table was falling apart.Lighting in the room was poor.(needed my phone torch to see in the wardrobe)Bathroom pull out mirror hanging off.Cold water ran hot for a while.Breakfast was ok but greasy.All in all I don’t like complaining but had to mention our clothes and so we got an airer straight away but the other things were not fixed as it sounded like they aren’t doing any maintenance at the moment until they get new furniture.For the price we paid I expected more,they need to downgrade it a star and reduce the price a bit at least until they update it.
