  Great little find. Its just off of the AP68 and just 1½hrs away from the Port at Bilbao.Very reasonably priced, excellent staff in both the reception and the restaurant.Good dinner and breakfast and the room was well-equipped as well as spotlessly clean and tidy. To be honest, for £50/nt, l think you would struggle to find better in this part of Spain.I did go round the block, a couple of times before l found it - just remember to turn into the petrol station and its around the back of that.

  We arrived late around midnight, but had phoned ahead to warn them which was welcomed news. On arrival, I guess the night porter/receptionist was particularly unhelpful, even rude, maybe our attempt at Spanish wasn’t good enough for him. Anyway, then being told I had to pay for parking in a very open, quiet area.The room was very bare although quite spacious which was fine as I just wanted to sleep after a long drive, but every slightest noise seemed to echo up the corridor, everything seemed so noisy, so a broken nights sleep and an early start as soon as other guests got up. For the price (over €90) we were not impressed.

  The swimming was closed. We chose this hotel knowing that we would be hot and tired after our 20 mile Camino walk. To not let know know or offer us the chance to cancel in advance is terrible service. I have requested a refund or some compensation.

  We were there during Semana Santa (Easter Processions) at "high season" so found the place a little expensive. They are pet friendly and had very helpful, enthusiastic customer service agents working the desk that also served as concierges and who were quite helpful. The place was clean, had a full bath, bidet, etc and a cafe on site with convenient hours. There was a gas station and mini-mart within the property but also a close walk to the train station and old town with the many tapas bars and fun history and traditions.
