    Great hotel but don’t expect to eat dinner early

    A great building right in the centre of this little town. It took time to work out how to drive to it. Good helpful staff and great room. The only reason I have not given it 5 was the inflexible way the staff insisted that we could not eat until after 9.00pm as they were busy and we had to have breakfast at 8.00am! The food is the usual Parador menu, good quality but not cooked from scratch in the hotels kitchen.     An absolutely beautiful parador in the heart of the city opposite the cathedral. Very warm welcome , beautiful room and great food. We are walking the Camino and this has been one of the highlights in our accomodation so far.     great piece of history to stay at

    A great experience in the old nunnery. The locals were not prepared for the influx of tourists for the eclipse but got onboard fairly quickly.the hotel was spacious, and breakfats was a joy. but the restaurand is in another building a short walk away.     We spent 2 nights in a superior room, as part of a visit to Rioja.The hotel is situated in the centre of the old town, next to the cathedral, and accessible by car, if you follow the hotel’s instructions. The hotel has external closed parking about 40m from the hotel, and an underground garage, both of which are payable.Our room was large, and comfortable, overlooking an enclosed area, so very quiet. We slept well.Breakfast was by sitting, but not particularly enforced, and was the usual high Parador standard, as was the dinner we had one of the nights during our stay.Service generally was excellent, the staff friendly, helpful and available, both in the hotel and restaurant.In summary, an excellent stay, well up to the high Parador standards.     Very nice Parador in a great location.

    This is a lovely Parador in the middle of Santo Domingo. A perfect location to visit the area. It has a gorgeous lobby to enjoy your pre-dinner drinks. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Indoor or outdoor parking.The only recommendation I would make is investing in soundproof windows.the front rooms right on the main square provides a lovely view however it can be noisy, especially on a Saturday night.
