  Booked this hotel to have a break from camping . Really disappointed with the room. Allocated room in the attic with one tiny velux window . The decor is nice but the room was really airless and very hot. You couldn’t see out of the velux unless you stood on a narrow shelf of exposed wall and sort of poked your head out round the glass. You really couldn’t see the sky as the window is so small. It felt like an interior room and as such was very overpriced. I did complain but the hotel was completely unsympathetic . Avoid.

  A lovely little Spanish Hotel

  I stayed at the Hospederia Senorio de Brinas for two nights and what a wonderful short stay it was. From the moment I arrived until my departure I can find no fault.On arrival the manager invited me to have a coffee, so welcome after a 5 hour drive. Then a brandy and then some home made cake with brandy. What a great start.A delightfully decorated traditional hotel and the entrance was stunning. My room was very well furnished and very clean. I could not fault the room as it was also spacious and airy. The bathroom had everything you needed as well.Breakfast was continental but sufficient for the day ahead and had enough variety.A lovely stay in a lovely hotel. And........... I was there for the football in Bilbao 50 miles away and unlike some other hotels this hotel did not try and rip you off!

  Good place to explore the rioja

  A Beautiful nest to explore the rioja area.Staff were very welcoming . The bedroom was cosy. The bathroom well furnish.Breakfast was Really tasty. They also got some good wines.We recomend it.All the hotel, got some spatious area, Nice to read, smoke or play.

  Wonderful property and staff! Enjoyed our complimentary winery tour (included with our booking) at Gomez-Cruzado winery. Ricardo was very friendly and hepful at check in and throughout evening. When we returned after dinner, we smelled a delicious smell and Ricardo told us he had just finished making croissants and offered us some for a late night snack - they were delicious! Begona was a wonderful breakfast hostess. The breakfast offering was the best we had during all of our time in Spain - many and varied choices and all were delicious. The restuarant was quaint and lovely. Would definitely stay there again.

  We stayed one night at this site as that is all the time we had. We wished we could have stayed more, as the hotel is delightful, as is the local town. Breakfast was very good. Happy to return in the future.
