    The hotel was lovely, nice apartments and friendly staff, only a couple of things prevented a 5 star review, there isn't a lift, we were on the 2nd floor and humping cases and ourselves daily was a bit frustrating, also the balconies aren't very private, right on top of each other, apart from that, place was clean and very friendly, only a few minutes walk from the square and beaches, nice and quiet place as well, key card required at night to enter.You also have the fantastic Debs Diner pool bar for food and drink.

    Brilliant but ANTS

    Only been here a couple of days, first time in Lanzarote too and it's been amazing. The only problem was is that we had ANTS crawling on both sets of tables and we had to move our stuff, fortunately enough, non got on our clothes or anything, apart from our sweets which we had to chuck awayStopped in room 201 and it was a great view from the hotel.

    This was our first time staying at the Oceano and had a lovely week ☺️ The apartments are of very good standard and staff we're very friendly. They are within a minutes walk to the beach, restraunts and the square Debs dinner was an added bonus with good quality food at very reasonable prices and very friendly staff. It was that good we have already booked to return.

    Booked over a year in advance as good hotels are always booked up during new year holidays Location is the best 5 minutes from the square and beach front Rooms very spacious and we had a high floor room with sun on the balcony WiFi was very good too We used the gym lots of great equipment and kept clean Pool area is well maintained plenty of beds We enjoyed breakfast in Debs diner good value Overall a great experience we would definitely return here

    Lovely spacious apartments. I have a distant sea view in room 201 on the road side which can be busy during day but that doesnt bother me. Id rather have a sea view + people watch than look down at the pool. Same for rooms 200 + 202. Most apartments are pool view. Some have an extended patio with sunbeds that face a white wall (no view). No lift but not too many stairs. I have a bad back /hip + managed fine. Lots of apartments are accessible on the ground floor and places to park motorised scooters. Adults only so very peaceful, especially around the pool where there is Debs Diner to get a drink or snack. Oceano is in a perfect location to get to everywhere, in the middle of bars, restaurants and the beach. Places to eat + drink are plentiful in the area and i was spolit for choice. Its a 5 mins walk in each direction to everything you need including supermarkets. Beds are very comfortable with good mattresses. Lots of wardrobe space. Nice organised kitchen with microwave + 2 ring stove top. They provide cloth, tea towel + washing up liquid, a kettle, coffee machine and toaster. The only thing I can think of that it needs is ice cube trays + maybe a full size tea towel. There's an authentic cork screw but no scissors. Other cultery + crockery is available. An inside dining table with low stools, large comfy sofa that can sleep another person move the back cushions + its another single bed. Good bathroom, hot water from shower + a bidet. They provide bath/hand towels + toilet paper (always a bonus). Decent pressure if you turn shower head to jet. 3 mini bottles of shower gel + mini bar of soap. TV has a few English channels BBC/ITV/Ch4+ music channels. I think you can purchase netfix aswell. Free WIFI. Safe in room 2.50 euros per day. Totally worth it, although the place is very secure. They lock tge front doors at 6pm ish + you swipe your door key to get into tge complex. 24 hr reception/security, so i felt very safe being a solo traveller. Balcony has table + chairs and a foldable washing frame with pegs. There is even a washer/dryer near the pool that you can use for 4 euros - brilliant idea. The day + night reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Ask them for recommendations on places to eat + excursions. They will sort everything for you. I booked texas ranch night, a boat trip and massage in my room (bliss).I have had a very enjoyable stay on my own for 5 nights. Its always a good start to the holiday when the accommodation is right. Last winter break I stayed in a 4 star hotel in Fuerteventura and it was a nightmare beginning to end because the hotel was like 'faulty towels' + completely ruined my holiday. So this was a very welcomed experience. I would definately come again! And I think I will always use apartments instead of hotels from now on. Its a more personal, friendly touch.
