  We very fortunately had to stay here due to our flight getting cancelled, can not fault them for welcoming around 80 people all at once.   Needs updating and urgent maintenance and safety inspections.

  A disappointment from check in to check out unfortunately we cannot recommend it. Anyone travelling with children to this hotel needs to consider the broken glass panels and their kids safety. The broken glass has been reported in reviews for months, They are everywhere we counted 11 including restaurants the pool area and cafe next to the solarium. Maybe we would return after a refurbishment which it badly needs. The food, drinks and room comfort only basic and nothing special. Staff generally friendly but again nothing outstanding have been to better hotels.   Stayed here with a friend for a short break. Hotel is in perfect location , lovely views and beach . Yes we were advised cannot swim in sea by local travel rep, however very close and beautiful walk to neighbouring beach with lovely restaurants and bars.Breakfast buffet is amazing lots of choice , clean and staff work hard .Rooms spacious and great shower , swim pool and bar overlooks beach with plenty of sun loungers and relaxing areas .pool bar staff lovely.Did not use spa but intend to use as returning tomorrow with husband to celebrate my birthday and another short break. Would recommend !   NOT A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE

  Let me begin by saying that I managed a hotel for 10 years and we have been fortunate to be able to travel quite a bit. Our arrival at the hotel was uneventful. We expected an employee to offer help with our luggage, considering this is a 5 star hotel, but had to request help. The location is good, right next to the beach. Our view from room 605 was great after asking to be moved from our original room because the “sea view” we paid extra for was obstructed by what appeared to be some kind of air conditioning apparatus. The mini fridge did not work and after our second call (four hours after the first) maintenance installed another. We were surprised to find the next morning the new one didn’t work either. Again, maintenance brought another unit and finally solved the problem. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The temperature control worked great. You never know when traveling how that will be until you arrive. Breakfast was included and was slightly above average. What was prevalent on more than one occasion was the noise level, not from the other guests, but from the staff performing their duties. This, along with the phone that they had there ringing loudly intermittently, reminded my wife and I of a cafeteria. This was not our only unsatisfactory experience eating at the hotel. The same space where they served breakfast also offered a dinner buffet. I don’t remember the price exactly but I can tell you that with a pint of beer and the bottle of water that my wife had, after the conversion to US, it was $100. I expect this to be a minimum charge for eating dinner at any decent hotel without alcohol but for what they offered it was overpriced. I can say that the pork was excellent but we were disappointed with the number of items available. Overall, the hotel was dated and definitely not what we expected for a 5 star. The experience left us both wishing we had stayed somewhere else. In the end it was just another hotel lumped together with most others that claim to be 5 star but really have no idea what that means.
