Great Stay, amazing bang for your buck

    rating29 May 2026

Great Hotel, Amazing bang for your buck. We only stayed for 4 nights but I’m definitely thinking of coming back for 7/8 next year so we can explore the island a bit.Quality of the food was good, there was lots of option and the hot foods rotated every day. Especially Italian night with the free Cava (champagne).Drinks were good, the all inclusive was any spirits, beer or wine, soft drinks and slushies. This was mainly local Spanish drinks that I found to be quite nice and smooth, definitely getting some for home lol! Entertainment was good, Mini golf, archery, air rifle shooting, all free to play (just a small but fair deposit to use the equipment so take some euros with you). I’m not sure of his name, but one of the workers but an incredible amount of effort in for the kids, dressing up as SpongeBob and Elsa to get them having fun!!Cleanliness was okay, we did have a slight drainage smell from the toilet on the first day but we reported this and by the time we got back from the pool the cleaners not only fixed it but also tided our whole room and took our empty glasses etc awayPool was a good size so you had lots of room to swim, I would assume it’s freshwater as there was no awful chlorine smell or burn in your eyes. It was a bit cold at first but you warm up to it. Location was decent, anywhere you wanted to go you could ask reception for a taxi and in matter of minutes it’s outside; €5-6 euro to get to the local town or a 25 minute walk. There was also a market at the weekend you could join the coach to go to.Overall, really really pleased. As an insider tip; we booked through Booking.com and got 10% off and a free taxi from the airport. Our stay was around £86 per night which was cheaper than booking a room-only in a hotel next door! Even if you don’t want to use the all inclusive I would still book this and explore the restaurants in the local town!

    Do Not Book this hotel

    rating26 May 2026

Food was terrible worst we have ever had at an all inclusive we ate out every night, we went for the breakfast and thought you cant go wrong with baked beans and sausages for kids well yes you can they was hard and cold . Cleaning rooms was bad they never took empty glasses or changed the tea cups. Our little one wet the bed and they remade it with the dirty wet bedding. Entertainment team was good which made it a good atmosphere, swimming pools good. Not that close to the main “square” so location wasn't great. Not worth the money at allMusic stops at a reasonable time to. The only reason i put it as poor and not terrible was because slides and pool for kids good Hotel Manager, Owner at BLUESEA Costa Bastian, responded to this review Dear Chelsey,Thank you for letting us know about your concerns.Glad you enjoyed the entertainment and pools. Great hotel! Would most definitely come back!

    rating23 May 2026

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the negatives reviews however we loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The biggest thing we were worried about being all inclusive was the food however we thoroughly enjoyed the meals. There was a variety of different meats etc every mealtime. The hotel is in perfect location for going to the Aquapark with only a 15 minute walk and also not too far from the main square in Costa Teguise with about a 20/25 minute walk. Over all we were happy with this hotel and would most definitely come back here. Hotel Manager, Owner at BLUESEA Costa Bastian, responded to this review Dear Lorna, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re glad you found your room comfortable and appreciated our team’s hospitality. It’s great you enjoyed the variety in our all-inclusive meals and that our location suited your visits to the Aquapark and Costa Teguise’s main square. It would be our pleasure to have you return on another occasion. Very best wishes,BLUESEA Costa Bastián

From Sceptical to Sun‑Soaked Believer – A Surprisingly Brilliant Stay at Hotel Costa Bastian

    rating18 May 2026

I’ll admit, I arrived feeling a little apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews—but whatever those reviewers experienced, we must have checked into a completely different hotel (or perhaps they just missed the point… and the sunshine). From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted like a long-lost friend—if your long-lost friend also handed you a welcome drink and pointed you toward sunbeds, a pool bar, and a suspiciously inviting pool. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and ever so slightly chaotic in a way that somehow makes everything more fun.The rooms are clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for that important holiday balance of “doing absolutely nothing” and “occasionally moving to get snacks.” The beds are so comfy you may briefly consider cancelling all your plans in favour of a committed relationship with your pillow. No judgment here. Now, let’s talk about the pool. It’s less of a pool and more of a lifestyle choice. You’ll go there “just for a quick dip” and resurface three hours later, slightly wrinkled but spiritually refreshed. And yes—brace yourself—it’s refreshingly cold. The kind of cold that makes you question your life choices for approximately three seconds… and then immediately dive back in because it’s exactly what you needed in that Lanzarote sunshine. And somehow, there’s always a sunbed waiting—like the hotel knows you’re coming and has quietly reserved your spot. The music at the pool was on repeat for the entire trip, however, it was inoffensive and gave you a rather fabulous earworm!I’ll admit, the poolside music wasn’t exactly my personal soundtrack for relaxation, and the coffee won’t be winning any barista awards anytime soon—but honestly, that’s me really scraping the barrel for negatives. The staff deserve a special mention. They are a delightful mix of efficient, cheerful, and impressively patient when guests (no names mentioned) forget their room numbers for the third time in a day. Nothing seems too much trouble, and everything is delivered with a smile that suggests they might be in on a secret about how to truly enjoy life. The food? Let’s just say you’ll arrive with good intentions and leave with a renewed appreciation for elastic waistbands. Variety, flavour, and the occasional “I’ll just try a bit of everything” situation that quickly escalates—it’s all part of the experience. And the location is ideal: close enough to explore Lanzarote’s stunning scenery, yet just far enough away to justify staying put with a drink in hand and pretending you’ll go out “later.”The evening entertainment deserves its own spotlight—it was absolutely hilarious. Not in the polished West End sense, but in the wonderfully chaotic, “you just have to embrace it” kind of way. Once you lean into it, you’ll find yourself laughing far more than expected and wondering why all entertainment can’t be this unintentionally perfect. In summary, Hotel Cosa Bastian is a place to unwind, laugh, eat slightly too much, and seriously consider extending your holiday indefinitely. Highly recommended… unless you don’t like sunshine, comfort, happiness—or invigoratingly cold pool dips! Hotel Manager, Owner at BLUESEA Costa Bastian, responded to this review Dear Melanierx,Please accept our sincere thanks for this kind feedback. We’re glad our team made you feel welcome and your room was comfortable for relaxation. It’s great you enjoyed the pool’s refreshing atmosphere and found our location ideal for both rest and local adventures. Your feedback on dining and entertainment is appreciated and will be considered. The entire team look forward to the pleasure of seeing you again on a future occasion. Best wishes,BLUESEA Costa Bastián
