  An enjoyable stay

  Lovely complex - not too big, which we like. Friendly Staff.The apartments have been updated a lot, nice new comfy modern sofa and beds were comfy too; the only negative is that bathroom/shower needs some TLC now. Great shower and a big enough bathroom but just needs tidying up as the grout etc has gone brown and doesn’t look good! Lovely pool-small, but big enough to cool Off in!Great location - directly opposite the beach - beautiful views from our apartment on the second floor.Easy walk to lots of pubs/restaurants with Shannanigans literally outside of Los Cocoteros. Great for breakfast!There are no snack or bar facilities on site as it’s self catering and so close to amenities.Cleaning Staff were very good.A NEGATIVE was that we had a late flight home and couldn’t extend our room booking until day of departure depending on whether it was booked out or not. Which I found odd as surely it would known if room is booked or not. No late check out for us unfortunately. Also, no other room/shower facility available. Luggage could be left but other than that there’s nowhere to freshen up/change for late flights which isn’t great when you have to be out all day in the heat! Overall though, we enjoyed our stay.   Little gem of a hotel

  Location is one of the best locations in Carmen. Right on the strip, no hills. Steps away from the beach, bars and restaurants. The hotel is so peaceful you wouldn't believe you are located on the strip. Rooms are really big, clean and with everything you need for self catering. Cleaned daily. We had sea view room which is especially nice. 2nd stay here & in future the only place in Carmen we would stay.   A perfect week!

  What a week and what an incredible apartment!! We arrived late on Saturday evening and we met with a warm welcome from the gentleman at reception. Check in was quick and smooth and we were directed to the lifts to the apartment. I note comments about the lifts not always working but they were perfect all week!! Now we had read all the reviews on this apartment and opened our door with a little hesitation and were met with the most beautiful apartment, way above our expectations! Lovely and modern (although a little tired in areas but these places see a huge turnover so its to be expected!) bedroom was lovely with more storage than I've ever had abroad! Bathroom is lovely and a good size, I saw comments about the shower flooding the bathroom floor, we never had that issue we just adjusted the shower head a little and had no issues. Kitchen is perfectly adequate great sized fridge freezer and a two ring hob. Utensils are basic but it's fine! Living room area is lovely with comfy seating a a huge window for this was looking right out too sea over the beach! We couldn't believe the view!! We actually spent a lot of time on the good sized balcony watching the world go buy with a vino or two! There is also a self service laundry in site which was really good! We didn't use the pool but one side was in the sun all day and was regularly used but not too busy! Reception are happy to keep cases for you if you have an evening flight home! One thing that surprised us was the apartments are serviced daily, wee clean, fresh towels and beds made! And the housekeeping ladies are lovely!! I will say there could possibly be a few extra sockets but we managed fine!Being based right on the strip access is direct to everything you could want including the beach! All in all I can't recommend these apartments enough and we will certainly be booking again! Thank you Los Cocoteros for a wonderful time!!
