The hotel is located 100 m from Playa Bastian in Costa Teguise and only 5 minutes’ walk from the centre, where there are supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants.     We wanted a week in the sun, nothing else but sun beds, pool, self catering, two bedrooms and good location for beach and restaurants. This place ticked all the boxes. The apartments are just 20mins from the airport (another tick) 5 mins to centre of Costa Teguise and 5mins to a lovely beach. It’s a small complex with smallish pool but perfect for a cooling dip. We think the bar cafe is run separately from the complex and opening times a bit hit and miss, hence score a 4 instead of 5. However it’s a bonus when open and provides adequate lunch time snacks. The Wednesday night BBQ was excellent, we highly recommend this. The apartment was very spacious, two good sized bedrooms , two bathrooms and a huge sun trap balcony. It was clean and well equipped, maybe a bit dated but this didn’t bother us as hardly spent any time in the apartment and the cost was very reasonable.

    Lovely place, very quiet. Staff excellent, frendly and professional. We had a change of plans so had to leave a few days early. The manager was very understanding which we were very grateful for. We asked for a sunny apartment/balcony with as few steps as possible which we got. The pool area was quite small but perfectly formed. The snack bar run by Serena was great and very reasonably priced. Thank you for making our stay special.

    Great Value Apartment - With some caveats

    I booked Camel springs mainly as it has a heated pool for the wife, and still she didn't get in. However the apartment we were in was basic, but ok. The bed was really good - Firm just how I like it. The shower also great, loads of hot water, even after the wife had spent all year (that's what it felts like) in there. But that's where it stops really, the Sofa was really uncomfortable to sit on, and the Wi-Fi was so up and down trying to listen to the radio or use the internet was painful, and with the weather we had thanks to Strom Emelia we were in the apartment more than we wished to. be. But and here is the mitigation - It was a cheap week. Speaking to the staff to get a better room you need to request on in the D/E blocks rooms 4/6. Ours was in B2. Like I said it was a great value room. and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat, its in a great location.

    I have just spend a week a Camels Spring and have thought about a review seriously. The location is great. And the apartments are spacious very sheltered from the winds. There is plenty of storage. And a nice little pool. I booked Camels Spring because when I asked if there were any STEPS I was told LITTLE OR NONE I suffer with my back and have walking difficulties so these were not for anyone struggling with back pain. So this winter escape was extremely painful - and on top of that the towels were threadbare - my husband tied one round his waist after his shower and when bending down it split completely. The bed sheets were the same and one wore through. Also the sofa looked like it had come from a junk shop. Also the wifi is total rubbish.

    Second visit to the Camel Springs, lovely two bed apt, having two bathrooms is also great as a family, great location 5 mins from the square and playa bastion. Spotlessly clean. No air con so rooms can get hot but we left windows open in the day to cool the room. Management and staff cannot do enough to make your stay wonderful. Highly recommend.Thank you again for a lovely stay.
