Very good hotel, Sergio, the host, is very welcoming and friendly

    rating25 Oct 2023

Great welcome, our host, Sergio, is great, the rooms are perfect, large, with a beautiful view, spacious beds, a refrigerator, a large bathroom and coffee. I recommend this hotel to those looking for peace and quiet, no noise in this area and a very nice common room with sofas and board games. Originally submitted in French on www.tripadvisor.com. Nothing special

    rating19 Mar 2020

We were here during the start of the Corona crisis (second week of march). We were welcomed by the housekeeper who doesn't speak one word of English. Difficult to communicate with. We were shown the room, but received no further explanation of the building or breakfast (times?). In the room were several things that dissapointed us: the fridge makes a hell of noise, the door to the bathroom is see through, there's a plate behind the tv that is loose, the light next to the frontdoor can not be switched off, so the room is bathing in light when you want to sleep, only one of the bedsight lamps was working, the bath/shower is super slippery and the shower head needs to be held by hand for there is no way to attach it to the wall. We stayed 5 nights but never received clean towels. There's a deadly virus and keeping yourself clean is of the utmost importance! We at least expected a change every other day. What surprised most is that after the partial lockdown of Spain and the island no one told us about the rules (not going on the street, don't shop together, keep distance). The fact that this appartment is quit and not touristic makes up for a part of this, but overall we did not have a good experience here.

Near Summer Residence of Cesar Manrique

    rating13 Feb 2020

George, the owner, is charming but hardly in evidence. A 10 day stay here is too long, cleanliness poor, rooms very cold at night and the bathroom was cavernous with no heating and a grill instead of glass, to let in the cold night air. Our room had no solar gain. We were promised a second heater to supplement meagre fan heater but it didn't materialise. TV has no English channels so luckily had Sounds on my phone so could listen to radio. Breakfast adequate, staff sweet but not communicative due to language barrier. Beds very uncomfortable, a rim all round the mattress was annoying, they need mattress toppers. We would never stay here again, though we really loved Haria.

Acceptable B & B in the Heart of Haria

    rating12 Jun 2018

This has a Rural Casa (House) classification. The casa is located in the centre of Haría. Driving from the main road follow the signs for Haria and then for the Parking. Parking is easy in the free central car park; two minutes’ walk to the casa. On Saturday mornings there is a craft market so the car park is busy, but I still found a space. The casa is not permanently staffed. So if you can work out an approximate arrival time there will be someone to greet you. Otherwise contact by phone and someone will be there in about ten minutes. You access the rooms from outside. The rooms in the main house have a small patio area with a couple of chairs and a table.I stayed here in one of the smaller rooms with an enormous bathroom. The bed was comfortable. There are plenty of options for ventilation with small high level opening shutters. There is no air conditioning. There is limited seating in the room. You do have access to the shared interior areas for the casa via a locked door. The decor has a vintage feel. My main criticism of this is that the majority of seating is uncomfortable. Breakfast was simple, fresh bread, jam, meat, cheese and so on. Hot water is via a kettle and a toaster is available. The area around the pool is sheltered from the ever present wind. The pool is cool but not freezing. Some sun beds set out on the patio around the pool. Nearby is a covered outdoor area with a large table and chairs and a fridge available for residents to use. It was not made clear on arrival that these facilities could be used. There are a number of walking routes in the north west of Lanzarote. Haría provides the perfect base for exploring these. There are several small supermarkets in the town centre to buy any picnic food you may require. There are a couple of suites available. However I feel the lack of somewhere private for me to sit comfortably and read of an evening may put me off using this place again.

Very pleasant hotel set in a delightful garden

    rating25 Jan 2017

We stayed here for 3 nights in January and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Our room had lots of character, a very comfortable bed and huge sumptuous bathroom. The staff running the hotel are wonderfully friendly, welcoming and helpful at all times and served a wonderful breakfast with unusual fruits. Most of all I loved the pretty garden with its heated pool, fruit trees and vines. The gardener seemed to take great pride in his work. The only downside during our stay was that our room wasn't cleaned or the towels refreshed. Also the wifi only worked 1 day out of 3.Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.
