  STANDARD AND RELAXING CORONA MAR

  I have stayed in Corona Mar for a week last april! The good thing about this place is :it is very relaxing and very quiet ! The location was good.Now let's go to the downside there's two many steps to get in and out , beds are not comfortable, small swimming pool.And the worst thing is when you book these apartments they cannot guarantee you the top floor apartments or the bottom one.Basically you pay your money and you do not know what floor you gonna be, bear in mind that there is just a ground floor apartments and a 1st floor apartments.I have already submitted a review before but after a long thoughts and after seeing the attitude of Mr Enrique who I have praised him before I thought i need to be as much honest as i can.I hope you can take critics so you can improve Pedro Coll, Atención al cliente/recepción at Corona Mar Apartments, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. The complex is built on different levels, which is common in the area, and we do our best to maintain all access points in good condition. We appreciate your comment and will keep it in mind.Comfort of the beds:We regret that the mattress was not to your liking. We have different models available, and whenever a guest informs us during their stay, we do our best to offer alternatives or solutions to improve comfort. We would have been happy to assist you at the time.Sleep quality:We are sorry that the quality of your sleep was not as expected. We regularly review and renew mattresses and pillows, but we understand that sleep preferences vary greatly from person to person. Guests are always welcome to request additional pillows or report any discomfort so we can help improve their rest.Swimming pool sizeOur pool is exactly as shown and described on all booking platforms. While it is not large, many guests appreciate its peaceful and relaxing environment.Apartment floor allocation: All our units belong to the same category: Standard One‑Bedroom Apartment, exactly as advertised. Requests for ground or first floor are always taken into consideration, but cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on availability at the time of arrival. There is no price difference between floors, so this is not a contracted service but a preference subject to availability.Service and cleaning: We are sorry that your perception of the service was not positive. According to the contracted service, cleaning is carried out every other day, towels are changed every 2 days, and bed linen every 7 days.If guests need additional towels or linen, they can request them at reception and we are always happy to provide them.Staff attention: We are surprised to read your comment regarding our colleague Enrique, especially after your previous positive feedback. Our team always works with professionalism and respect. Even so, we will review your comment internally with the seriousness it deserves.We appreciate your intention to help us improve.   Great apartment and location - will definitely be back!

  We were there for a week 19-26 Feb 2026. Had a ground level apartment number 4. Lovely apartment very spacious and clean. Really nice veranda area and sun beds right outside. Total sun trap all day long. Bins emptied every day and room tidied and towels changed regularly. Yes the steps were a bit of pain with luggage when arriving but manageable every day after. Big spar shop next door, very cheap prices. The apartment has a fridge, toaster, microwave and full cooker. Great location a short distance from the front and a number of bars with beer £1.50/£2 euros and very cheap sangria , wine and cocktails. We ate a couple of times at Palm Bay on the front - great food and cheap drinks and great, friendly service. We always hire bikes and bike long the coast to Arrecife for a day. Buses from the front to Playa blanca or Costa teguise. Stunning coastal walk from old town harbour to Puerto calero about an hour from the harbour. Will definitely return to Corona de Mar - we liked the quiet set up there without a snack bar and bar but equipped to do own thing or so much on the doorstep. Had an minor issue with safe outside of office hours and it was sorted immediately. Thank you Corona mar.
