  Villa felt worn and tired

  Currently on our second to last day staying at number 48 as a family of 4. Booked through booking.com and then flights separately.I'll deal with the positives first.* Check in was 4pm however we were arriving at noon. I emailed in advance and asked for an earlier check in which was obliged. Super easy as there was a key safe outside so we just let ourselves in.* The villa resort was really quiet and clean. * The villa was stocked well with crockery, a decent washing machine and dishwasher. Huge fridge and two of the bedrooms were ensuite, the third had a separate bathroom.* Plenty of parking (we hired a car). * The pool was cleaned almost daily. * Beds were very comfortable (more pillows would have been nice).Cons* Broken safety deposit box so unable to use.* Sofa was absolutely filthy, full of stains from previous tenants and so we didn't use it.* Some of the patio doors were difficult to lock and felt flimsy. * No towel or bedding change for the whole week.All in all we enjoyed having our own "home" and appreciated the space and privacy of our own pool but we did feel that the villa was tired and needed some tlc. We knew it would be around a 20 minute walk to the front and so hiring a car would be essential for young families or the elderly. I personally enjoyed the walk and we mainly used the car for day trips around the island. We would definitely stay in a villa again but next time would maybe go for a privately owned one to ensure a slightly better spec of accommodation.

  Utterly perfect villa

  Just arrived back from a fantastic 5 night break at Las Buganvillas, we booked through Jet2Villas and stayed at No.54.Three bed, three bath was perfect for us 4 ladies wanting a chilled break in the Lanzarote sunshine. The villa was modern, spacious and airy, and we felt we have enough space to relax without feeling on top of one another. Air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms and lounge.Massive TV in lounge with Netflix etc... and smaller ones in bedrooms.Beds were comfortable if a little on the hard side!Fully equipped kitchen but would have been nice to maybe have a bottle of water in fridge for arrival. We would definitely have paid a little extra for a welcome pack of essentials to save us having to race out to buy them as soon as we arrived! Dish washer, washing machine, fridge freezer.Pool and patio area was perfect, it felt spacious and spent most of our time in and out of the pool and on the loungers. There was a great looking BBQ but we never got round to using it! Pool guy came once during our stay to check and clean pool, he was friendly and didn't disturb our bathing!Local area is quiet and not much around you, this was fine for us as we would walk the 15-20min down to Playa Blanca beach and either walk or taxi it back. Approx €4 (Loads of taxis at the rank, by beach which are very reliable).Las Buganvillas is a little like a maze to start with, all blocks and villas look the same, took us a while to get our bearings, maybe a local map with info on, such as short cut to local shop. We used Google maps but it took us the long way to the shop (15min vs 5min) which was mildly annoying as we'd just arrived, in need of water and rather hot! Hey ho, we soon cooled down with a dip when we returned!There is a lovely local tapas bar El Tonel, approx 10min walk which is friendly and does amazing food and sangria! (Burgers were delicious and huge!). The only thing we were unhappy about was the lack of any towel change. A sign by the door suggests it happens twice a week but during our 5 nights (6 days) we had no clean towels. (Maybe If washing powder was provided we could have washed our own.)Would definitely return again, thank you.

  Lovely Villa

  Arrived in the evening (villa 48) after a fairly smooth drive in the hire car provided (recommend getting one). The villa is spacious, clean and has everything we need. There are a couple of shops in walking distance but car is needed if you want to do a ‘big shop’. The pool area is fantastic with lots of space to have a laugh or just chill out. There are obviously minor faults, like with most things. My biggest issue is the quality of the pillows...see a very minor issue! You can walk into Playa Blanca - it takes about 30 minutes then get a taxi back for about 4 euros. Would definitely book a villa holiday again, had a great time and didn’t want to go home!

  Nice villa needs some attention

  Stayed st Bugan villas number 9. For the half term break with two kids Upon arrival villa was great. Looked clean. Villa has a lot of fixings needing attention. Either hanging or loose fittings. Etc ProsUnheated Great pool. Relaxing location Plenty furnishings Amount of bedrooms and en-suites Plenty of space Pool has sunshine all day Great alarm and good safe in main bedroom 4 loo rolls and clean towels were dropped off half way through trip Good fridge and oven etc 1 small friendly shop about a 10 minute walk ConsHairs in the 2 tea towels in kitchen Showers are loose in their fittings and very small Pool isn’t heated No items in cupboard even to start your holiday off. EG salt, pepper , washing tablets or liquid. Oil. Or any pan scrubs. There was nothing at all. No English TV at all Couldn’t connect to WIFI at all in a weeks stay Require car fir main shops. Light in pool full of water and not working

  We lived in the villas at no 8 from 13th March to 24th March the pool was only cleaned once and we had to ask for it to be done pool was dirty.the rooms were not cleaned well either the freezer had not been defrosted it was thick with ice
