Location

This apartment complex is located in the tourist area, only a few paces from the white sandy beach of Costa Teguise. A range of restaurants, shopping venues, bars, nightclubs and links to the public transport network are located in the hotel's immediate vicinity.

Facility

The apartment complex has a lift and features 172 apartments. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access is provided to guests. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Rooms

In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. For young travellers, children's beds can be provided. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request.

    This place is amazing for families,super clean,staff very helpful,I’m a gf diet and they cater very well for me,the daily entertainment team are great with the kids and adults alike,nothing is to much trouble.

    We had a gr8 stay at the galeon playa. From the staff receptionists the restaurant staff i.e.alberto jose leo n all the staff n chefs they were excellent.They couldn't do enough for us n they were all so friendly n helpful from start to finish.The food was also excellent breakfast n evening dinner there was always plenty to choose from. We will be back in September P.G.     Lovely Holiday again

    We have just returned home from our lovely second home. Our stay was lovely and relaxing. Our apartment was extremely comfortable and looked after well by the curteous cleaning staff. Pool staff and maintenance team were so friendly and helpful. Animation team seems to have been reduced but they still work very hard to still go above and beyond to entertain everybody even if it is quiet. .Sometimes there is only 1 entertainment person working on their own all day from 10.00 I am sure this will prevent them from doing their job properly as they will be so tired and not able to fulfill their commitments and their love to look after children and adults at Galeon Playa.     Disappointing Stay

    Having stayed at this hotel many times before Sea Sense took it over, we were surprised how much it has changed. We opted for a superior sea view room on the top floor of A block. The room itself was nice, but noticeably dated. In need of some TLC. Our biggest gripe however was the terrible smell of drains, we informed reception who were all very nice but just provided us with a lavender spray. We ended up buying our own bleach and toilet bowl cleaner. I felt it got worse the more we were there. Unsure if was connected to the building work going on next door? We also saw some dead rats around the building, not a good look.Towels were of poor quality and very thin, also the room I personally felt could have done with a good spring clean. The one maid we spoke to didn’t particularly want to interact and didn’t answer us back, obviously not enjoying her work. Such a shame as the views and hotel are in a fantastic location.     Good location near beach and bars and restaurants .Friendly atmostphere and nice staffWent half board food is pretty good compared to some places ive been .Had a room in block E3 214 seaview clean and well furnished downside was shops and kids play area underneath next time i would opt for E11 over near restaurant some rooms still have sea view and much quieter .Maid service is bare minimum room only given quick wipe over balcony never touched .2nd time ive stayed here and would stay again .Shout outs to the guy who runs the restaurant bar very friendly and the two women on the animation team GALEON PLAYA, Guest Services / Front Office at Galeon Playa By SeaSense, responded to this review Good evening,Thank you very much for your lovely review and for staying with us again at Galeón Playa.We are very happy to know you enjoyed our location, atmosphere, food and the friendliness of our team.
