  Returned home from a week's stay here a couple of days ago.We had a fab stay, apartment was very clean and well presented with everything required for a relaxing stay, kitchenette just big enough to prepare simple meals, the microwave with built in convector and grill, although small, was a great addition.Beds were very comfy. Pool are was lovely, lots of sun beds!!There is some work being done at the hotel at present and there was some intermittent noise during the day but this did not affect our stay, if you are likely to be disturbed by such noise maybe take some earplugs rather than look elsewhere.Location is great, Spar a couple of minutes walk away and larger supermarket in shopping centre abour 5 mins down the hill. There are lifts in the shopping centre you can use to get down to the beach front level, or there are steps behind the shopping centre. Easy walking distance to the harbour too. All staff were super friendly and helpful.   worst holiday experiance ever room 142 cockroaches everywhere in cupboards clothes drawers cuttlery cupboards bathroom killed 200 cockroaches in that room the final straw came when while in bed the wife woke up with one next to her face on her pillow the receptionist/ manager says they come from the garden which is nonsense they were small and had hatched in the room we moved that night at 12pm in to room 141 for the last 4 days were i killed another 50 bigger cockroaches worst 2 weeks holiday we ve ever had rosalia rosa perdomo, Atención al cliente/recepción at HG Lomo Blanco, responded to this review Mr. Getaway. While we regret that your stay was affected by this issue, we feel it is necessary to clarify how the situation was managed by our team to provide a transparent account for future guests.From the second day of your stay, our team offered you an immediate room change. We explicitly informed you that, to eradicate the issue at its source, it was mandatory to apply professional treatments that—for health and safety reasons—cannot be performed while guests are occupying the room.We sincerely regret that this offer was repeatedly declined for almost your entire stay, as you preferred to remain in the original room despite our warnings and insistence. It was not until two days before your departure that you finally accepted the transfer, which prevented us from taking effective action during the previous 12 days.Furthermore, we attempted to contact you several times to facilitate this process, but unfortunately received no response to our calls.We hope this review serves to help future guests understand that we are located on a tropical island with a warm climate, an environment that naturally favors the presence of such insects. Although we maintain a rigorous and constant pest control system, nature can sometimes present complex challenges. In these exceptional cases, guest cooperation is essential: if a room change is refused, our hands are tied, as we cannot apply the necessary professional products out of respect for your health and safety.We are sorry that our assistance was not accepted from the very beginning, which would have resolved the situation immediately.Kind regards.HG LOMO BLANCO

  Book early, you wont be dissappointed

  I could list endless brilltant qualities about this hotel, location, service, food, atomosphere, apartments, the other guests, mini fitness suite, security, blah blah blah, but if the only minor inconveniences we had were that the shower fitting was loose and the fridge smelt a little funky, o and quite cloudy the first 3 days then I think that speaks for itself, have to see this hotel to believe it, value for money is an understatement!!!   Lovely place to stay

  Just arrived back home yesterday from our stay 1 week stay at Lomo Blanco staying in 1 bedroom apartment in A block on ground floor.As soon as we arrived we where felt very welcomed by receptionist. Once in our room we were very impressed with the accommodation, all rooms where very clean & tidy, Beds very comfortable, plenty of storage space for clothes, ceiling fans in the living room & the bedroom which we only used the first couple of days.   Just back from a week at HG Lomo Blanco,Nice , Friendly and Clean,Had breakfast every morning, no complaints there, no problem getting sun beds, everything in walking distance…. Spar and Lidl 10 mins away,Apartment clean and beds super comfy! Had a little outside terrace but no view, not really a self catering place as kitchen not really equipped, microwave meals only really…. But if you can eat out it’s fine, ate at restaurant on site, very tasty!
