Ideal for beach holidaymakers and families, this hotel lies in Puerto del Carmen, right by the beach. There are a number of shops nearby, and access to public transport is about 100 m away.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2024. 6 junior suites and 236 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service (on request and for a fee), a car hire service, medical assistance, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a page service and a hotel doctor.     Stayed here early May with my 3 friends. Hotel is really clean and well maintained, it's not too big so everything is quite close together. Rooms were nice, had hair dryer, kettle and cups but need to get tea bags, coffee milk etc from the machine at the pool bar, and a free safe, plug sockets on both sides of the bed and the bed itself was huge and very comfortable. We had a side sea view room which was only a very slight view of the sea but we weren't too bothered. Pool area is nice, sun beds weren't reserved early during our stay so we generally went for breakfast around 8.45 and we always managed to get 4 sunbeds together near the pool. I'd imagine it's not quite as easy in peak season however. The vibe around the pool is very chill, there isn't much of an atmosphere with no music and you weren't allowed lilos or balls. Only watched the entertainment in the evenings twice but it was fairy chill, again not a lot of atmosphere though the night we arrived there seemed to be a DJ on and people were dancing. We did sometimes find the service to be slow in the evenings for drinks, it's table service which is great and some nights it was really quick and other nights it was quite slow, we did feel that maybe half board guests got quicker service but none the less the service was very friendly. Service overall throughout the hotel was fantastic, reception staff were the friendliest I've ever experienced, as well as bar and restaurant staff all friendly and approachable. The only slight let down for us was the food. It was really fresh and tasty but we didn't feel there was much choice compared to other places we have stayed. None of us are super picky eaters but I do think a picky eater may struggle a little bit particularly for lunch times. I did feel like I ate very similar food every day for lunch and dinner so we did end up eating out at a chinese along the road which was lovely. Overall though it was a lovely stay and we would definitely stay again.

    Wonderful Hotel

    Wow! Hipotels, what a wonderful short stay. I highly recommend. Such a clean, calm, friendly hotel. The staff went above and beyond at all times and nothing was too much. Whilst here, we stayed in room 268 - absolutely beautiful. My friend also had her birthday whilst here and the staff took it upon themselves to surprise her with a special table for birthday breakfast, including champagne and a candle, to top this they also left a box of biscuits in our room as a gift- Thank you! The surrounding area is picturesque and quiet- just outside of the main area of puerto del Carmen, but only a short taxi ride away. Entertainment is great and plenty of options throughout the day. If you’re looking to come to Lanzarote then this is the place to stay. We are sad we had to leave but will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Hipotels La Geria for a perfect, relaxing stay.

    Amazing relaxing birthday stay

    We have just returned from a weeks stay here b&b and the hotel was amazing. We were away celebrating my other halfs 40th Birthday and hotel were so great in helping me organise a couple of surprises for him from banners and balloons in are room to a lovely birthday cake at breakfast which I cannot thank them enough. Are room was lovely, clean and spacious with a view overlooking the pool and we could also see the beach as well. Breakfast had lots of choices from hot food, fruit, cereals , pastries you name it. During are stay we used the spa and got a couples massage which included chocolate and champagne Patricia was so friendly and lovely and Agata gave me a lovely massage we left feeling very relaxed. We had lunch by the pool a couple times during are stay and virginia was very friendly and was always rushing around bless her to make sure everyone was happy and got what they needed. They had a good selection from burgers , baguettes , pizzas and drinks the food was delicious. We did go to the hotel evening entertainment twice and found it did not have much on that appealed to us but the acrobats were ok and the beatles tribute was really good we were singing along. I have to give Jordi a shout out for being so wonderful with the birthday cake at breakfast he even helped get it brought up to are room afterwards for us to finish it off. Zofia on reception was lovely in helping us on are last day with getting a bit longer in are room as we had a really late flight home. The hotel is in a perfect location short distance from airport , right on the beach and a short walk or taxi ride in to puerto del carmen, the pool is a good size with lots of sunbeds around the pool as well. we did however a slight disagreement with another guest in the hotel as we were unaware that the bali beds by the pool you had to pay for them we had used two different beds at different times during are stay with no problem and there was no signs stating this on them it was not until are last full day that a gentleman guest had a go at us because he had paid and we said we did not as no sign on bed he then went and complained to reception and only then were signs then brought down to the beds some people just like to wreck things for others. We would absolutely return to this wonderful hotel the staff do them such credit. Thank you for a lovely stay

    Another fantastic stay at Hipotel La GeriaJust had a most enjoyable week here, yet again. Certainly could not fault this hotel. Staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful. Lots of activity on a daily basis by the pool, and live music a few afternoons during the week. Very close to the airport, for those not familiar yet, approximately 12/15 minutes by taxi. Stayed on a B&B basis, excellent selection to suit all tastes every morning for breakfast, which commences at 8am. There are a number of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel and also a well stocked Spar Supermarket. To anyone thinking of booking, would highly recommend La Geria🇮🇨

    Fantastic clean, friendly hotel, lots of facilities inside the hotel and outside.Rooms spotless ,clean and cleaners are punctual , leave sufficient towels etc. breakfast good quality and plenty of choices. Hotel overall spotless, constant cleaning teams working hard. Lots of sun beds available. Snack Bar reasonably priced and good choices . Small local town so easy to walk to , flat walk , 5mins away, with very nice bars restaurants and shops. Centred between two spars (also for your bits and bobs) We will be returning definitely Animation staff so friendly young Spanish / English ismai (sorry ) if that’s wrong fantastic and so friendly . Lovely guy and representative of the hotel.
