  SIMPLE BUT FAIR HOUSING AND SERVICES WITH FRIENDLY STAFF

  I and a friend of mine stayed 8 nights in November 2025 (from 22/11/2025 to 30/11/2025) and we were very pleased with the value for money we have found at Pension San Gines: the rooms are simple but clean and with a good storage capacity. The bathrooms are decent and equipped with all the essentials. Car lots are not available just on the venue, but one large free parking area is located just 150 meters from the Pension. WiFi works well everywhere and the staff are friendly and strive to cater for the needs of the customers as much as they can. Of course, it is necessary to book this accommodation by gauging your expectations: Pension San Gines is a very convenient and good option just at the centre of Arrecife, but it is not a posh, luxury accommodation and was never meant to be so. If you need a wide range of amenities such as a large garden, a full-fledged breakfast offer, an environment where absolute silence overnight is guaranteed, large rooms, etc., then it is better to look for something else; but if you possess some willingness to adapt yourself to a kind of housing and services whose level is simple but surely fair, then staying at Pension San Gines is highly advisable. Should I come back in future to Arrecife, I shall surely choose again Pension San Gines.

  Cheap very basic room don’t be fooled like us about the view that’s upstairs on the roof not from your room no WiFi so basically the title of sabbia suites is misleading it’s a hostel

  The location is good. However the surrounding area is quite run down but is within walking distance of the harbour and shopping. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and the room was clean. Very good shower and hairdryer. The worst part was the noise levels, every single movement travels through the entire building, you can hear the cleaning on every floor from the moment housekeeping begins, if you are a light sleeper this place is not for you. Our room was never cleaned on our 3 night stay, now towels or toilet paper replacement. The room is small but fine, no in roomamenities and the wifi did not work. The most off putting thing about this hotel for me was the constant contact, I received frequent messages from them looking for my check in time, then asking me to check in online before arriving and then an email before I checked out asking me not to do a negative review but to discuss the issues with them. All in all, it was fine but I would not return. It worked out at €65 per night which is not worth it I have stayed in far nicer on the island for less.

  Was at the hotel for 7 nights first week of December 2025.The Good.It's cheap,it's very central only a short stroll the the main shopping street and about 15 minutes walk to Open Mall. It's clean,I had no issues with cleanliness,bedding and towels were fine and shower was hot. WiFi was ok but no security, probably best to use a VPN when connecting. TV was fine but never really used it. Air con worked well. Staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful and the desk was manned 24 hours. The roof top terrace was a great bonus with some lovely views.The Bad. THE NOISE.......... I had read other reviews that mentioned the noise but massively underestimated how bad it would be. The walls are so thin you can hear people moving in bed ( as the beds squeak) above and below.you can hear people urinating in the toilet above.The room above had the alarm set on their mobile,it woke me up. Doors banging people running around corridors.I'm writing this at the airport at 7.35 am not had a wink of sleep all night for what appeared to be some kind of party going on. It was still going on when I checked out at 5am. I found it best to try and get a nap in the afternoon. If you want somewhere cheap and central and noise is not an issue for you I suggest you go for it.If you want somewhere to rest after a long day,give it a miss.

  Excellent budget solution for full of overbudget accommodation in Lanzarote

  It is really a Gem Hidden in Arrecife. It is spotless: everything is super clean: room and the bath in common. Room was enough bid for me and the matress was super comfy. 5 minutes walking from the Fantastic Arrecife Pueblo. Check in super smooth and at night there was somone attanding at the desk. Unfortunately the room next to my was a bit too noise, but overhall it is the perfect budet hotel in Lanzarote.
