  Before our visit I emailed the hotel as we traveled with Jet2 and was advised that they had renovations going on and did we want to change our hotel, also I was checking daily on trip advisor for any updates from guest, a few was there which is why I emailed, I was assured that the work was completed on the 7th May, not quite correct, painting and small repairs were still going on a little more than general maintenance, the main pool by the reception area you can hear in the background building work, not sure if this is related to the hotel or on the outskirts.Our apartment/rooms were situated in the serenity area which you have to use your door key to access as well as your room.Our room was lovely and well equipped for us to make tea/ coffee and even a light meal if required a bottle of welcome wine was left as well, Both pool areas as well as all the hotel was very clean and was maintained at a high standard, it was not very busy so plenty of sun beds the ground floor rooms in the serenity area all come with their own sun-beds a table and chairs in your own little patio.The main pool is heated and pleasant to swim in, the pool in the serenity area was extremely cold and very slippery under foot, so was not used by us at all, seams very strange that you pay extra for this area but the pool is NOT heated, no air con in the rooms which fortunately because the weather was cool and windy we did not need, not sure how this would fair in the hight of summer. Breakfast was very good for choice continental full English fruit pancakes and pastries all very good standard, we ate 3 times in the evening during our week stay and the food was excellent all for 20 Euros a head, the Sauvignon bought at the bar on these evenings was very good. Water is 3 Euros a bottle here but only 1 Euro at the supermarket, which are close by as well as restaurants and bars.Gardens are well maintained staff are very friendly and helpful, there is a hotel being built opposite but you cannot hear any noise if you are by the pool in the serenity area, although this does start from 8ish in the morning and bedrooms are situated at the front of the rooms.The hotel is for 18 years upwards, so it is a very relaxed atmosphere various ages from early 30 upwards , it’s worth a stay as long as you know exactly what you are getting for your money Hotel Siroco, Atención al cliente/recepción at Hotel Siroco Adults Only, responded to this review Dear @Karen RThank you for your review.We are happy that you had a nice stay even with the detailed issues detected by yourselves. About the pools, both are heated to 24-26 ºC, which may not feel hot as the human body is on a higher temperature and this is made so the pools are not freezing, as in Lanzarote with the wind it is really disgusting to get in a pool if is not heated. We check the temperatures twice every day on both pools to ensure that it is working.The main works in Serenity took place until the 7th of May, however, we have some minor works in some of the rooms but no noise should be produced. This may come from outside as there are a couple of new building works surrounding our complex.It is really nice to read that you enjoyed breakfast and the existing relax as there is just adults.   Brilliant week at this hotel!

  Lovely hotel, clean and spacious apartments. Food was really good with a good choice and variety for breakfast and dinner Snack bar was also really good. Pool was clean and sun beds were easy to get once the pool opened at 10am. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Some renovations happening throughout the hotel but didn’t affect us or stop us from sitting by the pool etc. it was actual good and nice to see the hotel getting upgraded and being looked after.   Much more than expected

  This hotel was a winner. Spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything needed. Breakfast was of good quality and sufficient choice. Snack bar also served very good food. The hotel seemed well run as sunbeds not available until 10am which is a great idea to avoid the usual hotel sunbed scrumdown at the crack of dawn. Room very clean and tidy with everything you need. We have booked for next Feb: far exceeds a 3 star in our opinion.   Excellent location, good atmosphere, excellent food. Most of the staff were very friendly. Clean, pleasant room although the bedroom was too small. The RECEPTIONIST was VERY helpful when booking us on a trip at short notice.
