Location

This apartment and bungalow complex is located approximately 300 m from the sand and shingle beach. Restaurants, bars, shops, and links to the public transport network can be reached in about 300 m; it is around 1 km to the town and tourist centre with nightclubs, and the airport is some 10 km from the hotel.

Facility

The bungalow complex has a lift and features 220 rooms, including 8 single rooms and 8 double rooms. Staffed 24 hours a day, the reception desk makes check-in and check-out easy. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast, lunch and a dinner from the buffet or à la carte offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options, picnics and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    Short break for 3 nights. Lovely place very spacious apartments which are old but have been qiven a bit of a revamp. Lovely kitchen with hob, fridge, microwave kettle toaster everything you need for breakfast and lunch. Great shower, very good hairdryer. We requested a 1st floor room as the terrace is more private. Many of the terraces aren't very private. Can rent great pool towels for just €10 deposit. Ate at the pool bar once was very cheap, think it was €6.50 for burger and chips and it was grand. There was entertainment on in evening didnt bother as thought the drink prices were dear enough so we preferred to head out. Pools are great, the main one is mostly kids and busier with music. The one across the street is more of an adult pool and nice and relaxing. Great stay for the money we paid.Only disappointment was there was no lounger on the terrace which I missed.Would return again.

    Second time staying here in a 3 bed villa with own pool and couldn't fault it. The facilities are great, place immaculate, staff friendly and helpful - would love to come again. Would liked to have had actual coffee mugs in the villa rather than tiny tea cups (we bought a set for the week)and a mirror in the bedrooms wouldn't go a miss but other than that had all we needed for a great holiday

    Cannot fault the hyde park..Staff in reception very friendly.Storage room in reception for cases which was very handy as we arrived early and had to wait a couple of hrs to check in. An excellent variety of fresh food in restaurant for breakfast and evening buffet..So much to chose from....Snack bar by the pool very reasonable and very generous with their portion size..Small supermarket on site but found it over priced....Rooms were immaculate and had everything you needed..Rooms were cleaned every second day... Cannot fault the hyde park at all or it's very warm welcoming staff..Hyde Park is a lovely peaceful well maintained complex away from the mad bustle of the strip but also only a 10 min walk to everything...Taxi comming back from the town is only 4e..Will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in PDC

    Better than expected

    Jet 2 Pleasant surprise, my wife booked this as a surprise break to relaxe for the week. We went for the self catering option over the all inclusive. The hotel was very good, clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We had a bungalow close to the main pool which slept 3, my wife and daughter slept in the bed and I slept on the sofa. The sofa was fine for the week and I slept well, my wife had an issue with the bed and after speaking to reception they changed it for a new mattress. The bungalow was cleaned every 2 days with fresh bew towels and toilet roll, new bedding and cleaned. The bungalow had a good sized tv with Netflix and amazon if you logged in to your account. The entertainment was as expected for a family resort, not brilliant but compared to the strip pretty good. Pool activities were good and very entertaining.Resort food, this is where our rating drops, the all you can eat buffet changed dailey, we had to pay as this wasnt our package but wanted to try it, if we had this as part of our package we would of complained. The food was average, the worst part was it was all cold, some dishes tasted good but cold. If the heat lamps were better this would be a different review. The beach was a short walk and local shops, Local restaurants were all very friendly and some we went back to multiple times. Over all the resort exceeded our expectations 100% and we would definitely go back, getting a bungalow next to the pool was perfect. We would recommend this to anyone as it was great.

    Came here for the Easter weekend 4 adults and two children age 6 and 7, bungalows were fine I found the beds comfortable but others say they are not but each to there own , staff very friendly and helpful, grounds are kept lovely and clean, I had a problem with the shower within an hour of reporting this was fixed, rooms kept clean , we went self catering and I think it would be better if they had an oven and not just 2 rings to cook on, also would be great to have dish drainers to put your pots on once washed had to put them on a towel, The kids club entertainer was brilliant with the kids and my grandchildren loved going to kids club he did very well to cope with the amount of children. Only ate in restaurant twice one evening and breakfast my opinion there wasn't enough options for evening meals, so did eat out alot, although kids did eat free for the under 12 I think, pool bar food was nice overall we did enjoy it and so did the kids , and I would go back.
