Location

This private residential development is located on the seafront in one of the best spa areas in the southwest of Lanzarote, known for its mild and gentle climate. The complex is located next to Playa Blanca which has a marina and fishing port that allows guests to practice water sports as well as golf, tennis, paddle tennis, squash and cycling. Links to the public transport network are roughly 500 m from the bungalow complex and the beach is some 2 km away. Lanzarote Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 35 km.

Facility

Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service and room service. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station, dishwasher and oven. Further amenities include a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. The bathrooms have a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. A variety of activities such as tennis, golf, paddle tennis, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, are offered at the complex. With windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the complex include a gym, squash and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam. Subject to charge: massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a café and a bar. Half board is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet and lunch are served every day. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options.

    Fabulous stay!

    We have just had 9 nights in this fabulous villa resort. We had a 2 bed villa which was very clean, spacious, comfortable and large outdoor space with own pool. As so peaceful there. It's a 5-6 min walk to nearby Faro Park and a 10 min taxi to Marina Rubicon. We had in-villa room service a few times and the food is delicious, particularly the Beef burger! Fantastic service, staff are really attentive. Would highly recommend.

    Kamezi villas were wonderful and in a great location. It's just a short stroll to the coast path and is very quiet. The villa was well equipped and very comfortable, and the daily housekeeping was superb. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful.     Nice resort but not a great experience

    We travelled as a family of 7 (6 adults, one baby) and stayed in a 3 bedroom Sea Lounge villa for 1 week.The good:- The Kamezi restaurant was a wonderful experience. Delicious tasting menu and a real pleasure.- The villas are private, spacious and nicely designed (minus the lack of AC).- The welcome bread, oil, and wine was a nice touch. The bakery is lovely and we thought the bread was fantastic.- The hotel is quite nicely situated with a pleasant promenade walk to restaurants/bars and other hotels. We had to use the H10 hotel for the gym and spa which was about a 10/15 minute walk away but it's very nice down the promenade.- Some local restaurants/bars within walking distance are great - chirinquito tropical is lovely for a beer and a paella or snack, flor de sal was a wonderful home cooked evening meal.- Reception staff and cleaning staff were all very pleasant.The bad:- Unfortunately our villa had consistent electrical issues and the power tripped frequently for 5/7 of the days. This was not something we could fix ourselves and an electrician had to be called each time, this had knock on effects to the heating of our pool, which was only warm for 1/7 of the days we stayed, we also couldn't have lighting outside which was disappointing as we liked sitting out in the evenings.- There were many cockroaches in our villa, we woke up to at least 4 or 5 every morning and one was found in a bed one night. Maybe not a lot the hotel could do about this, but there is no AC in the villas so you need a window open, otherwise the heat is stifling. We had to spray and dispose of these cockroaches every day.- Some of the paint on the bottom of the pool is peeling away and some areas look a bit tatty. The beds are firm, which may be fine for some, but was not comfortable for us.- Although we were informed in advance, and offered a 5% discount for the renovation works, it was a bit disappointing to not be able to use the cocktail bar, spa or gym. The hotel are not to blame for this but I would suggest to other travellers that it makes the 'hotel' part a bit pointless during this time, you may as well just find a nice airbnb for less money.Overall, we did enjoy our time and I feel a lot of the issues we had were 'bad luck' rather than the general experience guests have, Kamezi did offer a 5% discount to the price for the issues that occurred.In my personal opinion, if you are travelling as a family to Lanzarote, I would just book a nice villa/airbnb in a location where you can walk or drive to bars/beach etc. Kamezi didn't feel like a 'villa with the hotel offering' to me, partly because of the renovations happening I would imagine, but for most, I think it makes sense to either fully self-cater and save some money on the hotel 'offering', or go to a hotel that offers you everything.     We were in Knightly named after Keira ,we had lived in her home town of Teddington for 30 years!Beautiful villa with everything you need.Amazing breakfast brought every morning!Bakery on site.Had a lovely tapas in Cocktail bar.Lovely massage and enjoyed their facilities.Every member of staff 5 stars! We throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.
