    Clean, adequate but SO loud

    rating05 Apr 2026

Rooms were spacious, clean and well kept. Not a lot of amenities but everything you need for your stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is about a 10/15 minute walk from the seafront which isn’t ideal but the shop is only 3 minutes away.Pools are clean, atmosphere is calm and happy a decent value for money. However, the noise is HORRENDOUS. Paper thin walls, you can hear everything everyone around you is doing. Also a fair bit of building improvements happening so that is loud. Can hear everyone walking around and talking, furniture scraping etc. Woke us up and stopped us sleeping every night. Even can hear the cleaners walkie-talkies when they are cleaning adjacent rooms. For this reason, we will not stay again.

3rd time staying and would again!

    rating09 Feb 2026

This was our third time visiting these apartments and what you see is what you get. Very basic but can not fault the rooms at all. Tv has been upgraded so you have more than two English channels now and you can watch YouTube ect. The pool is cleaned every morning. Your room is cleaned every three days. Staff are friendly and although not always on site, you can contact them easily. Bar is reasonably priced too. Location is out of the way but within easy walking distant of the main area, head down the hill and you’re there within 5 minutes. Luisa Ramos, Director General at Apartamentos Los Tulipanes, responded to this review Dear Customer,Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us for the third time! We truly appreciate your continued trust and loyalty. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay once again and that you were pleased with the recent TV upgrade, the cleanliness of the pool and rooms, and the friendliness of our team. It’s also great to know that you find our location convenient and our bar reasonably priced.Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back for your fourth visit! 😊Kind Regards

Would not book to stay here again

LACK OF RECEPTION STAFF in both physical presence and in any enthusiasm in ensuring your stay is a pleasant one.H&S ISSUES OF FLIMSY INTERNAL DOOR INTO NXT DOORS APARTMENT - this internal door linking my kitchen/dining & living room area into the neighbouring apartments kitchen/dining & living room area, was an extremely unpleasant and unprepared for experience - not only for the lack of soundproofing, resulting in me being warned upon arriving at my apartment, by the women staying nxt door, that she does not have the TV on when she is on holiday, & so would appreciate it if I did not have the TV on either during my stay, as the previous couple in my apartment, had so far ruined her holiday, with the noise they made. I very quickly found out that this interlinking door not only fails to provide any soundproofing what so ever between apartments, but you can even see when next door are moving about their apartment from the light that shines from both beneath the door and down the side of it....but if you don't mind hearing the guests in the next apartment straching, sniffing, farting and even turning the pages of the book they are reading, oh and of course, what they (and their cooking) smells like, then you will be grand staying here.ON A H&S NOTE I fail to believe these wooden internal interlinking doors would pass any fire safety standards, and the evident lack of staff on the complex and fire extinguishers, raises enough concern for me to not want to return to this complex again in its current state.Ants in the bathroom also quickly became a problem, and the lack of staff on site to report these problems too, or to get a spare key from after you accidently locking myself out of my apartment after fumigation of the ants (had to wait 3 and a half hours for arrival of reception staff, despite medication, inhaler, footwear, purse and phone all locked inside) so this coupled with the fact that everything in the kitchen was in need of replacing, updating or repairing means not only would I not return, I would find it difficult to think of anyone I could even recommend booking here Luisa Ramos, Director General at Apartamentos Los Tulipanes, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to read about your experience and that your stay did not meet your expectations.Regarding reception, while our team is not always physically on site, we are always reachable by phone and aim to assist guests as quickly as possible. We regret if on this occasion you felt unsupported or if the waiting time caused you inconvenience.Concerning the interconnecting door, these apartments were originally designed to offer flexible accommodation options for families and groups. We understand that sound insulation is very important, and we are sorry that this feature negatively affected your stay. Please be assured that all apartments comply with current safety and fire regulations. However, we take your concerns seriously and will review them carefully. We also apologise for the issue with ants. Pest control treatments are carried out regularly, but unfortunately, in warm climates this can occasionally occur. We regret the delay you experienced after accidentally locking yourself out, especially given your personal belongings were inside, and we understand how frustrating that must have been.Your comments regarding the kitchen equipment and overall maintenance have been noted, as we are continuously working on improvements and updates. We are genuinely sorry that we did not provide the experience you were hoping for, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us to improve.Kind regards.

We knew they were budget apartments but budget does not mean no hot water for most of your holiday,

    rating05 Jan 2026

We have just returned from these apartments and although the apartments themselves were adequate and it is in a good location and very quiet eith a nice quiet pool area. there are a lot of things that need to be improved upon, the main one being we went for most of the week were there without any hot water. We arrived 8.00pm on 26th December. We had received an email explaining how to get our apartment key which was pretty straightforward as there were no staff around and got into our apartment no problem. It wasnt until they next morning when we were talking to other guests that we found out that some of them hadnt had any hot water for 3 days. When we checked we didnt either. We immediately complained(twice) but it wasnt until the next day when we tried the shower that it was hot. Unfortunately it was short lived. The staff told us it was fixed but for the rest of the holiday it was pot luck as to when you might have a hot shower and quite often if one of us had a hot shower, the next person to use it had to put up with, at the very best, a tepid one. Surely, the most basic ammenitiy in a holiday complex is hot water, especially in December when they weather isnt exceptionally hot and can in fact be quite chilly in the evenings, but the staff didnt seem to be bothered and when we complained they simply shrugged their shoulders and said there wasnt anything they could do.There was no communication from the staff running the complex to let people know what was happening but this seemed to apply to everything. When we arrived we werent told that on our apartment key ring there was a code that would give you access to the site after hours as the gates were locked for security purposes. We wouldnt have known this unless one of the guests already there hadnt informed us and would have probably found ourselves locked out in the street. Three days into our stay a couple arrived in the evening and were just wandering around trying to find out how to get to their apartment as they hadnt even received the email to advise where the key safe was. Luckily we were sitting on our patio and were able to advise them the code for the key safe etc otherwise they wouldnt have been able to get in as there was no one else about. It wasnt until we left and we put our cases into the luggage room that we saw a washing machine/dryer that was for guests to use but no one had told us anything about it.The complex seemed to be extremly short staffed, with only a couple of cleaners, a handyman and a couple of receptionists. Its a shame this is run on a shoestring as it could be a lovely little place but I would say avoid these apartments if they cant even provide the most basic thing as a hot shower everyday and some basic communications from the staff. Luisa Ramos, Director General at Apartamentos Los Tulipanes, responded to this review Dear Customer,Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We are truly sorry to read about your experience, especially regarding the hot water during your stay.We fully agree that hot water is a basic and essential amenity, particularly in December, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this caused you. During that period, we experienced an unexpected technical issue with the system, which required urgent repairs. While temporary fixes were carried out, we regret that the problem was not resolved consistently and that this impacted your comfort. Please be assured that the matter has since been thoroughly addressed. We also apologise for the lack of clear communication on arrival and throughout your stay. All guests receive pre-arrival information by email, including access instructions and key safe details, but we understand that this may not always reach everyone or may not be fully clear. We appreciate you assisting other guests, although this should of course have been properly managed by us. Your comments highlight that we need to improve how we communicate essential information, including access codes and available facilities such as the laundry area.Regarding staffing, while we operate with a small team, we strive to remain available and responsive at all times. We are sorry if on this occasion you felt that concerns were not handled with the attention they deserved. We genuinely regret that your stay did not reflect the standard we aim to provide. Your feedback is very valuable and will be used to improve both our maintenance procedures and guest communication.Kind regards.
