Location

This apartment complex is situated in a quiet location right in the centre of Playa Blanca and is just 400 metres from the nearest beautiful sandy beach, Playa Dorada. The lively promenade and the town centre, with numerous shopping and entertainment venues, are only 1 km away. There is a bus stop directly in front of the complex (100 m away) and a worthwhile excursion includes Papagayo beach, which is only 5 km from the complex.

Facility

440 rooms and 220 apartments are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

    My family and I have just returned from a stay at Mynd Yaiza.We all really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is well maintained and very clean.We were greeted by a friendly staff member on arrival, although we arrived early we were still able to access our room straight away which was great.The room was spacious and set up nicely for us, it felt very clean and we had a big enough balcony overlooking the pool.Both my kids enjoyed the pools (even though they were a bit cold) and they loved the mini disco every evening. The animation team were great! Short walk to a nice beach and shops. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only negative would be the food variety for breakfast. It was the same every morning and we were left disappointed. We went for the half board option and it really worked for us. We dined at LaMesa restaurant on one evening and found it to be ok. The service at the snack bar (by the pool) was really slow, my husband had to wait over 30 mins just to buy a bottle of water and in the evenings the outside bar service was pretty slow too but I would say they were understaffed so the staff did the best they could.     Our family are just back from a lovely stay here, staff in the hotel were great and the place and the rooms were spotless, beds were honestly so comfortable. Pools were great fun with so many beds we never had an issue getting one at any time,Only negative i would mention and it wasnt a big deal for us was the verity of food, At breakfast the hot food selection was mainly eggs and bacon and vegetables that i didnt think belonged on a breakfast menu, the lunch menu was lovely but could do with more options so you could mix it up better, We only had dinner once in hotel and it didnt work for us but they do a credit system so if you dont have dinner you have 30 per adult per day to spend around the resort during the day for drinks icecream or lunch and that worked greatvfor us best of both worlds.Really enjoyed our stay and thank you for your hospitality.     We’ve had a fabulous time at MYND, the animation/entertainment team have been fab with my daughter - Adri, Laura, Alba & Matia’s & we’ve enjoyed our stay. It’s our first time to the island & was a great experience. We’re a short walk to the beach & the staff have been lovely. The hotel and grounds have been very clean and tidy & no complaints about the food & drink on offer! The credit system is very clever!We’ve never struggled to get sunbeds which is great, although the pools a little chilly that’s not stopped our water mad child at all!     I visit Playa Blanca a few times a year and have stayed in many different hotels, but I’m currently at the MYND Yaiza, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best. I’d happily rebook without hesitation.I’m staying on half board, and the hotel runs a credit system — we were given €420 for the week between the two of us, which we can use for drinks and poolside snacks.
