Location

This hotel is located directly beside the sea and is just across the promenade from the sandy bay of Playa Dorada. The centre of Playa Blanca is only 10 min away where guests will find scores of shops and other entertainment venues. Links to the public transport network are 400 m from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 51 junior suites, 290 suites and 44 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a DVD player, a games console and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Sport

The pool area includes saltwater and freshwater pools, which are in part heated, as well as a children's pool. Indoors and out, guests can take a rejuvenating swim or just relax poolside. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, basketball and paddle tennis. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as kayaking, snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy jet skiing, paddle boating and banana boat rides. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, squash, yoga and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam, spa treatments, thalassotherapy treatments, anti-ageing treatments and aromatherapy and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, a kids' disco and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Half board is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch is served as à la carte, and guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu for dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Great trip for two families during half term. Large rooms (stayed in a normal suite per family - one bedroom and two sofa beds in lounge with a Bathroom and kitchenette. Way larger than expected)Pools were great. Easy access to a lovely beach with decent cafe/bar, and short walk to other shops/restaurants. Beautiful hotel. Service was lovely. Various pools were great. Buffet was excellent and varied although noisy as expected. Kids club a hit as was the soft play. Supermarket immediately opposite hotel perfect to grab water and picnic lunch.Would definitely recommend.

    Really excellent hotel with beautiful rooms, pools and gardens. My grandchildren really enjoyed the kids club and football coaching. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.     Our family had the most wonderful stay. Originally, we only booked 3 nights in order to split our stay across the island and because I was unsure about the hotel based on negative reviews, BUT once we arrived we cancelled the other property booking and stayed the full 8 nights at Yaiza as the views from the room, pool grounds, and facilities for children were too excellent. I went back and forth on playa blanca hotels for months, watching so many yt videos on properties. Had I known I had already booked my dream family hotel, I would have saved so much time! Highly recommend as a family hotel in the best PB location. I visited other hotels whilst there and it confirmed I made the right choice. We stayed a week before May half term and part way through half term and both environments didn't impact the quality of stay. It's an aged 5 star hotel and yes it could do with a aesthetic revision, however it doesn't affect the quality of service or use of facilities.
