    Feature Bathroom is impressive. The balcony is large and has lovely sea views (upper floors best). The suite is clean, modern with ample USB charging ports! Wifi is excellent. The fridge is small but adequate for a bottle of wine! Air con quiet and effective. But the suites really lack wardrobe space and drawers! Maybe a small kitchette would be a lovely additon. Poolside is great: Very comfortable loungers but they do get taken. Great hiking routes close at hand. A good choice of (quite expensive) restaurants within a 10 minute walk - as is a decent Supermarket (uphill). Breakfast a bit disappointing - yes, you get to order a well presented egg dish but the buffet is small and the quality and variety is very limited. Don't expect more than one cup of coffee! Virtually no fresh fruit! This really could be better! Staff super friendly and helpful. The gym is small - the basics but all equipment working! A very nice hotel - ideal for couples who seek peace and quiet rather than "nightlife". Great snorkelling along the coast, too. Public transport is a bit limited and irregular. All in all, 9/10 for the accommodation and amenities, 10/10 for staff but 5/10 for breakfast.

    Had a great time and loved our room and facilities. We had a ground floor apartment with direct access to the pool. No issues with sunbed availability and we were lucky with weather. Staff very attentive. My wife left her purse at one of the bars in the resort and we went back to the uk without realising. We contacted the hotel and they walked around all the bars and restaurants in the port that we visited and found it; great service and they are mailing it back to us. Would not hesitate returning for a chilled quality holiday.     We've been to Royal Marina Suites a few times since it opened 5 or so years ago and the high standards have never changed. Impeccably clean, the breakfast is wonderful, and the staff are lovely - so friendly and helpful, but the thing we love most is the totally calm atmosphere and relaxation this hotel provides (helped by there only being 26 rooms).Puerto Calero is 5 minute walk away along a pleasant promenade overlooking the harbour. There are about 15 restaurants with all options - seafood, steak, sushi, Indian, Spanish, the Irish bars offering pub grub. Puerto Calero is fairly quiet but Puerto del Carmen is a 10 minute taxi ride away (approx 15 euros) if you want something livelier.Speaking with the staff the hotel is well over 80+% for returning guests which I think always speaks volumes. We shall keep returning for many years to come.Tip - consider booking direct - if you email (or speak to) the hotels reception direct they will offer you the best available price at the time and if you are willing to fly Ryan Air you can save a considerable amount of money than booking through the major tour operators.     2nd trip here. Lovely clean hotel. So peaceful. Breakfast was lovely. Staff very attentive. Real relaxation..just what we needed. Short walk to restaurants. We love it here. Booked again for next year. Weather was windy and cold sadly. Some sunshine..ordered a packable windproof raincoat for next year..hoping I won't need it.
