    23rd - 30th April 2026 Fabulous

    rating02 May 2026

Upon arrival, we were told that we had been upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. We stayed in bungalow 16, which had a Jacuzzi, BBQ, and beautiful sea views.I had been slightly concerned about the beds, as previous reviews mentioned needing to request toppers, but ours already had them—definitely a bonus. We found two restaurants that we really enjoyed. The first was Furancho do Tono, next to the HiperDino supermarket. The food was fabulous, and the atmosphere was great, with a mix of locals and visitors creating a lively vibe. The second restaurant we were impressed with was Carpe Diem—very tasty food, and they even had a lovely non-alcoholic piña colada on the menu.Next door, there’s a bar/eatery called Paulo’s Bar. Paul, the owner, is fantastic—very welcoming and always smiling.Local transport was easy to use. The number 30 bus stops right opposite Caybeach Papagayos, which was very convenient. It costs €1.40 per person and takes you around the whole loop—we stayed on for a full ride and saw places we otherwise wouldn’t have.If you want to visit Puerto Calero, you can take the number 30 to the bus station and then change to the 161. It’s a lovely place to visit. We also visited the marina (which has a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays). As mentioned in other reviews, it may be a bit far if you have mobility issues, but it’s worth it—plenty of places to eat and drink, great ice cream, or simply sit and watch the world go by.If you’re looking for a quiet location with restaurants, bars, and a supermarket nearby, this is the perfect place.

    So Clean and Quiet

    rating01 May 2026

We stayed in Apartment 18 at Coloradamar Bungalows and had a fantastic experience. The bungalow itself was very large—much more spacious than we expected—and the highlight was definitely the huge terrace. It offered sea views and was the perfect place to relax throughout the day.The entire property is extremely clean and well-maintained. In terms of location, there are a few good restaurants just a two-minute walk away, which is very convenient. It is about a 20-minute walk to the Marina, but be aware that it is a very hilly route, so it might be a bit of a workout for some!Thankfully, transport is very easy if you want to skip the hills. There is a bus stop right outside the property, and it only costs 1 Euro 20 cents for a one-way trip into town. Overall, it’s a brilliant place to stay if you want plenty of space and a great view.

    Weather permitting

    rating19 Mar 2026

If you read the reviews for the bungalows all I can say I agree well maintained lots of space everything you need for the perfect holiday we booked a jacuzzi room and it was not overlooked and a short walk to the pool that was very quiet lots of loungers and umbrellas except a French couple who thought it necessary to put their towels on loungers as there were only usually three or four people at the pool was stupid but bad habits die hard. My only criticism is the beds they are so hard second day in went to reception told them and two mattress toppers were put on our beds happy days after that. We would definitely recommend it’s at the quieter end of playa blanca and suits us but the walks are easy to Marina Rubicón which we visited the weather was so cold had to buy fleeces to keep warm only fetched a couple of cardigans for evening. Would we come to Lanzarote again and the answer is no nothing is worth the airport hassle we stood in a queue for 2 hours and then another hour on the coach waiting for passengers when we booked our holiday sept 2025 nothing was mentioned about border controls only it kept being delayed on the role out, we go home today and I’m dreading a similar performance to leave. May revisit when it settles down but with the awful weather and border crossing it doesn’t feature in the foreseeable.

First but not the last stay in Playa Blanca

    rating16 Mar 2026

Just returned from a lovely stay at LIVVO Coloradamar Apartments in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, and would definitely recommend it.The apartments are spacious, clean, and really well laid out, with everything you need, it's like home from home. The private terrace was a great bonus. We had the jaquzzi plus and was well worth it, with sun loungers and seating, plus a BBQ. There's also a free, safe, and air conditioning - along with a free bottle of wine on arrival. The complex itself is spotless, peaceful, and well maintained. There is a small shopping complex very near also. The location is excellent — quite and about a good 20 min short walk to Marina Rubicón, where there are plenty of great restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s also close to the coastal path, which is perfect for a stroll along the seafront. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They booked an excursion for us. The pool area was lovely and clean, but despite the weather, we chose to stay in our huge patio area. It’s a great option if you want somewhere quieter than the main centre of Playa Blanca but still within easy reach of everything.

    A great complex

    rating14 Feb 2026

What a lovely complex of 32 individual villas with an excellent outdoor area and pool which is kept very clean and well maintained. The villas each come with their own patio area, table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers, which seems to take any pressure off the poolside ones. Situated in Coloradamar at the western end of the Avenida Maritimo it is about 20 minute walk into the Rubicon Marina area and the same again into Playa Blanca old town. If you don’t fancy the walking the no 30 bus end it’s circular journey outside the complex and runs every half hour to the other end of the Avenido at Faro Park, all for the princely sum of 1.40 euro. This is very much a peace and quiet job, there is no entertainment or bar facilities, in fact the whole of Coloradamar is the peaceful part of the town. Apart from the beaches in the centre of PB, there is Papagayo beach 20 mins from the complex which is very nice but the walk is some 20 minutes and over rough steep ground. The shopping complex over the road has a small supermarket and some excellent bars and restaurants, Alfie’s Bar, was our favourite, a special mention to Simple and Natural who do great coffee and breakfasts. So why all this praise and not 5 stars, quite simply the beds were awful, hard and uncomfortable, we asked for toppers to try and make them bearable but were basically ignored, in the end we had to buy our own from the town. Would I book for next year, well yes but only if the sleeping problems could be guaranteed to be solved
