    Still like student accommodation!

    Whilst the rooms in this hotel are spacious and well-equipped, it has not managed to 'shake off' the impression of being in university accommodation! On the plus side, staff were very helpful and friendly and free parking was easy to find, both directly in front of the hotel and in the vicinity. The breakfast was quite good and very good value. All covid precautions were in place with several hand gels, signage and individual disposable wooden 'tongs' to use the buffet. However, the internet in our room was practically non-existant! To get any slight internet signal, we had to go out into the corridor and even then, it was hit and miss! In this day and age, that is totally unacceptable! The other factor to take into consideration is that the hotel is rather 'off the beaten track' - there are very few shops, bars or restaurants in the vicinity. Of course, a 15/20 minute walk will take you to the Cathedral or Old Town.

    Two night stay in Leon heading North. Chose this hotel due to location and that we could park our rental car. Great hotel, checkin easy and fast and staff even with limited English gave us lots of info, especially about the free tapas with every drink at cafes and bars. The old town was a 15 min walk slowly and great to see and easy to get to from hotel. Across the road was a large supermarket and Aldi not far away as well. The room was large and I expect the dorms for the uni students in the past. It was contained with a kitchenette so had microwave and sink and small stove top, and fridge it had limited utensils. It would be great if they could have supplied coffee cups, we had our own travel ones thank goodness, but did have to boil water in a very and only large saucepan, which is not ideal safety wise.. Wifi worked well. Clean room and breakfast buffet was 7€ but we did not participate. Car was in safe location at the front. Overall a good place to stay and would def come again to fantastic town of Leon if travelling this way.

    Las habitaciones son amplias y las camas cómodas. El personal muy amable. Lo mejor el desayuno con mucha variedad y todo muy bueno, aunque el sitio donde se servía era un poco pequeño. Está un poco alejado, pero llegas en 10 min andando. Merece la pena.The rooms were big and the beds were really confortable. People are really kind. The best thing was breakfast, there was a lot of varieity and every thing was really good. Although the place where it was served was a little bit small. It is a little bit far from the city centre but there are many ways for arriving there like: walking( 10 min), by bus, by car... It is whorth it.

    Quiet location in the university area of town. Pleasant 20 min walk into the old city - nice to stay and walk through areas where people actually live. The room was spacious and clean, and it was really nice to have an evening in watching TV and preparing our own meal in the kitchenette (Alimerka supermarket close by, and also cafes.) Although in the university area, this accommodation is run as a hotel exclusively for guests, and is separate from student accommodation. Very nice, helpful receptionists. Very good value.

    Stayed here quite a few times now as my grandson is studying at the universityVery friendly staff comfortable clean rooms with facilities for making drinks etc lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance
