  Very poor staff but good facilities. The restated was fully booked event though we were staying in the hotel. The staff didn't seem to care about us.   The rooms were a nice size with a nice size bathroom. The bathroom had a tub and shower combination. So you have to be careful getting in and out. The breakfast was average.   You'll Be Happier Booking at Another Hotel

  We stayed in at the Barcelo Leon Conde Luna in late May 2025 as part of a tour with Gate 1 Travel. This was not representative of the other hotels we were booked into on the trip. I would rate this a 2 star hotel, at best. On the positive side, the location is excellent and we enjoyed the varied breakfast options. However, our room was small and desperately in need of updating. The furnishings were worn out and gave the impression of being tired and grimy. The mattress and pillows were really uncomfortable. The A/C did not work well. WiFi was non-existent. There was mold in the bathroom (though the shower was nice, and the towels were of good quality). The refrigerator was overheating its enclosure. There was no in-room coffee or tea or electric kettle. The front desk did provide an electric kettle upon request, which unfortunately had not been cleaned and contained the food residue of a prior guest's misusing it to make soup. We couldn't wait to leave this hotel and can't recommend it to others.
