Location

This hotel is located directly in the tourist centre of León. The gothic cathedral is located just 10 minutes walk from the hotel and the immediate vicinity offers numerous shopping facilities, bars and restaurants. Public transport links are situated just 500 m from the hotel.

36 single rooms and 60 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock.     Quiet neighborhood and great breakfast

    I've stayed in this hotel for one night, in order to rest while doing the Santiago Way. It allowed me to get the necessary rest. The room was sunny, with TV, hair dryer, hot shower and an old-fashioned bath. It's seven blocks away from the center but in a quiet neighborhood. I've got a reduction in the price as it was an special offer for booking on Sunday (32 euros). The breakfast, that has a cost of 7 euros, is complete: eggs, ham, toasts, juice, etc. You can help yourself. The staff is kind and gentle. My room was near the elevator and stairs, but fortunately there was not much noise of people passing by.

    Spacious rooms. Very clean. Modern. 15 min walk straight to the historic center and only about the same distance from the train station ( just cross over the river on the pedestrian bridge). Close to many restaurants and stores. One restaurant is in the hotel but we did not utilize it. Desk staff were very friendly and helpful with maps for directions. Couldn't be more pleased.

    Spent two nights at Quindos after trekking the Camino. Actually liked the location; quiet neighborhood, easy walk to old town, 15 minute walk to train or bus. Even claiming a 2008 renovation rooms might appear a little “long in the tooth”. Just the same I found it to be clean and comfortable. Front personnel are professional and helpful. Good breakfast buffet. They may want to look at starting it a little earlier say 7 versus 7:30 to accommodate eager travelers.

    The single most outstanding part of my stay was the friendly, helpful staff. They went out of their way to accommodate any special needs or requests. This includes those working at the front desk and the waitperson at breakfast.The hotel is lovely, with nice artwork displayed throughout, and beautiful stained glass windows on each floor. The rooms were not large but very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious.I would have preferred a location a little closer to the center of town, but it was well located for walks along the river.

    The best feature of this hotel is its location. It is less than 40m from the Camino route, and less than 15 minutes walk from the bus and railway stations. We were able to retrace our steps along the Camino, to the historic centre, again less than 15 minutes. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but is reasonably priced and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and he helpful.
