Location

The hotel is situated on the edge of the residential area Eras de Renueva, in the immediate vicinity of the Museum Castilla Leons (for contemporary art) and close to the auditorium as well as the Hostal de San Marcos. Various shopping venues, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are to be found about 200 m away.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Good choice, but far from the cathedral

    Stayed here for one night in August 2025.Pros:1) The room and bathroom were clean and were of adequate size.2) The hotel has an underground parking area. The garage is small and the space is tight, but manageable.3) The front desk staff were courteous and helpful.4) The WIFI was free with good speed and connectivity.5) There are reasonable eating choices close to the hotel. There is also a large supermarket nearby.6) The bathroom amenities were modern and in good working condition.7) The area is quiet at night and the sleep quality was great.8) Since the hotel is far from the city centre, it is easy to get in and out without having t deal with city traffic.9) The tariff is cheap.Cons:1) The place is far from the city centre. It is a good 30 minute walk each way.     Hotel is a great place to stay with a bit of luxury

    The Hotel Leon is a great place to stay with a bit of luxury after traveling the comino for so long. Great service, reception, rooms, breakfast and parking is available.Shops nearby is a bonus.     Bed bugs. I wrote a review and the hotels response was garbage. We woke up the morning and had red welts as I had never previously experienced this I did not know at the time it was bed bug bites. Our reservation was indeed messed up and although we requested a second night we left after seeing the welts on our ancles and legs. Nightmare.

    What a great hotel, brilliant location, easy parking and great staff at reception and restaurant. Really smart rooms and comfortable lounge areas that allow you to relax.     A disappointment for Don Gabriel

    We have been sightseeing in the area and reserved this Melia with great expectations. I’m afraid Mr Escarrer would be a bit disappointed. On the plus side, the receptionists were really friendly and attentive, with the right helpful attitude. We could say the same about the staff in the cafeteria. The downside was the quality of the food in the cafeteria/bar/restaurant. Frozen chips in a Melia? The chicken fingers to pick at seemed to be a chicken escalope sliced and refried, making it dry and tasteless. Perhaps the menu ought to be relooked at because the premises are really nice. The room was fine although having to go to a vending machine in the lobby to get your minibar products kind of defeats the purpose of a minibar in the room. Breakfast was adequate although not what you expect from a hotel advertised as a Melia affiliate.
