  No Stay, No Breakfast—Still Got Billed

  I had to cancel my reservation due to a family emergency. I called the hotel to inform them fully aware that the fare was non-refundable given the short notice. I did not request a refund.To my surprise I was charged for breakfast. More to my surprise, upon contacting the hotel they send me the cancellation policy as if I hadn’t understood it. In my opinion this is truly humiliating. I was asking for the charge of breakfast not for anything more.Since I made the effort to notify my absence by respect and courtesy, I expected yo be treated in the same way. Evidently, this was not true.

  Clean and quiet. Room very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was extensive and we priced. Conveniently located and easy to find.

  Probably the best hotel in Lugo. Very centrally located. Big room, nice comfortable bed and pillows, a large bathroom, and a minibar. No coffee/tea maker/ kettle in the room. Limited dining options- apart from the breakfast buffet, there is only a bar cum restaurant with a very sparse menu, though the food and service were both good.   We had a spacious and very comfortable room here, lovely décor and good TV. Bedding and towels were excellent. Our room was overlooking a side road, but still quiet. The hotel is in a perfect location in relation to the old town being a short, flat 5 minute walk to the city walls and all the churches, shops, cafes and restaurants there. There’s a sizeable supermarket right next door for snacks, drinks or toiletries you may have forgotten to pack. Reception staff were excellent. Hotel basement car parking was tight and a bit pricey at $14 per night but adequate if your car isn’t too big and saves the hassle of trying to find a space nearby. Highly recommended.

  Excellent Stay - Perfect Location

  We loved our stay! The staff is the friendliest we encountered on this trip. The hotel is very clean and everything looks beautiful and well taken care of. Our room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the center walled area where the cathedral and restaurants are located. It is within walking distance.We ate breakfast at the hotel, which was included, and it had many choices of cold and hot plates. We will definitely stay here again.
