  The stay was excellent overall. A large golf course surrounding the building for those interested, a spa which seems to be the main theme of the hotel that I did manage to try. For the families or spa Dislikers, there is a swimming pool outside, connected to the spa water with warm water, which we enjoyed. The location isn't ideal if a town or city trip is what you intended but lovely for a country trip for the night. Amenities Lived up to the review, modern and elegant room, with a large television and overall enjoyable room. The service was excellent, the waiters at breakfast were incredibly kind, and room cleaners were more than happy to wait a few minutes for us to finish packing up at noon. Breakfast itself was delightful as well, with a large variety of options and delicious food.

  The hotel bar has a very nice menu and we often go there for lunch. The staff are absolutely wonderful and the facilities are great. We have had breakfast here but the quality was really awful from an English point of view and we would not repeat the experience. However, for us it is one of the best places to stop for a beer in nice surroundings and we know we will always be well treated.

  A really lovely hotel but set in the middle of nowhere. Sure if you take advantage of the spa treatments it would be a great place to stay. We had a room on the first floor so didn't suffer the sloping roof as some of our fellow travellers did. We had a nice room, wifi not that easy to sort out but got there eventually. There was a lovely buffet meal at night and at breakfast the next day. The dining room was very nice and light and the food was definitely the best we had on the tour. The staff seemed very pleasant too. We had a nice after dinner drink in a lovely seating area surrounded by books and there were people on the bar which made a change for this trip!!!!   Stayed one night as part of a Saga tour. Room enormous but very claustrophobic due to the sloping ceiling and wood cladding. Only two velux windows which made the room dark. Very peaceful and beds were comfortable. Room clean. Buffet supper was very good and breakfast one of the best we had on the tour. Interesting walks surrounding the hotel.

  This is a very nice quiet country side hotel with spa. Quiet rooms. Very good quality and a large variety of food at the buffet dinner and breakfast!The spa is fantastic with a lot of pressure showers, bed jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna, inside and outside swimming pool.
