  We stayed at other three other Paradors on our trip which were all lovely experiences. This one was unsatisfactory. Definitely not worth the cost and I would not recommend. First, the view was in fact lovely and the best thing about the hotel. We visited the end of July and specifically checked to make sure there was air conditioning. This did not turn out to be the case, we even moved rooms after maintenance could not “fix” it, which was a waste of time as the A/C did not work in the new room and the mold smell was much worse (note: no A/C at all).The restaurant food was also subpar, quite cold and flavorless. However, the restaurant staff were kind, even though my husband received the wrong order they quickly apologized and fixed it. If only the gruff gentleman at the front desk had at least this same courtesy to simply apologize and tell us the A/C was not operational throughout the hotel, we would have had a much better experience and not wasted hours of our evening.   A lovely Parador with great views

  Comfortable room with lovely enclosed balcony with fantastic views across the river and also gave an interesting insight into the freighters being loaded on the docks below. Very helpful receptionist, efficient and helpful restaurant staff. Lovely dinner and a pretty good breakfast, but the eggs are pre-cooked here, which means the go rather solid and dry (strange, as virtually all other Paradores that we have stayed in, offer freshly cooked eggs?). Also the chairs are very strange with what feels like a large spring forcing you upwards?But a lovely Parador overall!   This is a great Parador with very comfortable and large rooms with a great view over the river and port area , The food at breakfast and dinner is excellent with a good variety and portions are generous. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and comfortable.it has a free car park opposite. I can highly recommend this hotel.   Rude staff, old Furnishings, and Noisy

  Very old hotel with old furnishings and decor. One thing they do not tell you about the view is that it also overlooks a receiving port where you will hear quite a bit of noise from the machines moving shipments. Otherwise, it is clean. The staff is also very threatening and rude. There was an issue with charging my card due to the charge being flagged as fraudulent. In several emails, they threatened the police and the court on me in a very short period of time. I was able to resolve payment but I would never stay again due to how I was treated through no fault of my own.
