    Anguish

    rating11 Apr 2026

We're going for points because it's gonna get long.First, it says that access is simple. Listen, 20 minutes clock on the door until we got an email at 15:20 where we finally got access.Secondly, that the access of the doors is only by phone and you do not have any pin or any code leaves much to be desired because you can run out of battery and a long etc, in addition to adding that in the day we wanted to access the room and the page fell and ran out of service and we were in the street waiting for the page to load until he felt like it.Third, once we accessed the room consists of 4 walls and a bed with the window as if to make the amago of spaciousness but that I remain in the attempt. There is no television or paper left inside or anything, just two plastic cups if you are inspired to go down to the first floor to get water that if you are thirsty you have to take a taxi to get there. I also don't want a villa because I know it's a hostel but a little more put the rooms would have been nice.Fourth, there were two bathrooms that were shared, that was already known when booking, what I really expected is that there was an individual towel per room to go to the bathroom and when you leave the shower put it because in that towel has been put the neighbor and king if you neglect and that makes you feel dirty. On the other hand the shower does not consist of artichoke so you have to be an athlete in pole jump so that you do not give the first water to minus four degrees. And last but not least, 61 euros a night plus 15 euros for staying until 14:00 that just arrive at 14:00 do not let you unlock the doors. For me it's not worth the amount for what they offer Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

Worse than sleeping at a cashpoint

It's the perfect definition of a hole/shack. Constant noise, mattresses and box springs from before Christ that kill you with noise, very strange people, terrible and desperate smells, showers that do not withstand the water and make everything wet, paper walls, unexplained early morning noises, communal bathrooms in which you can find a person showering to do their needs at 3 a.m. leaving an indescribable smell, vaults above the bed that wake you up suddenly, windows with crystals thinner than a spaguetti that make you hear everything and impossible to sleep. In general a real shame, both in orderly, hygienic and social terms. It is certainly deplorable and regrettable. Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

Worst hotel experience. Couldnt enter in the night

    rating23 Jul 2023

I had my worst hotel experience to date at AyZ Hotel Cabrini in Madrid. We arrived around midnight. The hotel had a digital check-in system. But the system couldnt find our name in the database - even though we had a confirmation email, with a reservation number. We were in contact with several help chats to try to solve the issue so we could get in to the hotel but they stopped responding and ignored our emails. We sat several hours on the staircase outside the hotel in the middle of the night. We ended up having to find another hotel after 02 at night to be able to get some sleep.Afterwards the hotel have ignored all our emails. So all in all this ended up being a very expensive and unpleasant hotel experience.

    Good budget hotel

    rating02 Jun 2019

We travelled to madrid for the Champions league final and booked this hotel early so got it a a amazingly good price with flights. If you're booking it don't do what i did and not do your homework on how to get there from the airport if you are taking the metro. Once you know what you're doing its really easy. Get on the pink line from airport to Mar de Crystal. Then onto the brown line and get off at canillas. Sat nav on phone got us to hotel which is about 2 mins walk from the station. There is no name on the outside of the hotel. It's a budget hotel but it's a good one. It's a shared bathroom and toilet but to be honest we didn't find it a problem as didn't see another soul on our floor for the 3 days we were there. The bathroom small but very clean and lovely powerful shower. Good hairdryer in bathroom so don't bother taking one. Room spotless and bed comfy. The hotel sends you codes for the front door and your room and these worked perfectly. Just along the road from the hotel is a fab Irish bar called Murphy's........ lovely food and a really lovely welcome. This is a Spanish residential area so no English spoken here so expect to get some strange looks when trying to explain what you want. !!!!!!!!!!. To get to the city centre is really easy on the metro and takes 3 quarters of an hour. Head for La latina. You have to go to San Miguel market for tapas its fantastic. Our trip was mainly dominated by the football but we will return to Madrid and would have no hesitation staying here again.
