Location

This hotel lies at the start of the Avenida de América on the corner of Calle Cartagena and Maria de Molina in the Salamanca district of the city. It is just a few minutes drive to Madrid - Barajas airport and there are excellent links to the IFEMA exhibition centre as well as the Juan Carlos I congress centre. The famous Prado museum is just a short distance away and a selection of shopping and entertainment venues lies within a few minutes walk of the hotel. Links to the public transport are to be found directly out front.

Facility

The hotel has 4 junior suites, 4 suites and 199 double rooms, which are located on 12 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     We stayed at Abba Madrid Hotel in May 2025. After our stay, I realized I had forgotten my iPhone charger in the room. Although communication was a bit difficult at first, the hotel staff – especially Virginia from Housekeeping – showed great responsiveness. She prepared the package and handed it over to DHL, and the charger arrived safely. We sincerely thank her and the entire hotel team for their assistance and professionalism!     The Abba is our Madrid hotel!

    Due to location, near airport and removed from the center, we enjoy each stay. 2 metro stops are near and the restaurant and hotel personnel are strong points to the chain. We were able to book 2 family rooms (separate quarters for parents from kids) and look forward to our next stay.     Concert goers, in Madrid for 2 nights only, but what a great surprise

    From the moment we arrived everything was superb. Check in (we were part of a large group) went without a hitch. Room was great, staff were brilliant. The buffet breakfast was very good, varied and plentiful. Cannot fault it, hence the five stars.     We stayed at the hotel for two nights and really enjoyed it.The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The shower and toilets are clean. We didn't lack anything in the room.The breakfast buffet was rich with options even for those who avoid gluten and are sensitive to milk.There are bus stops near the hotel, so you can easily get anywhere in the city.Less than a minute's walk from the hotel there is a supermarket with a fairly rich selection of products.We didn't need the help of the hotel staff, but the one or two times we went to reception we were received with courtesy.All in all a good hotel that there is a chance we will choose next time we come to Madrid.     Very close to the subway station and to the airport. You can reach the airport as well downtown Madrid by tube. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The rooms are really comfortable and large. The staff is wonderful and helpful : thanks to you all.
