  I have stayed at this location several times in past 4 years. Each year gets worse and this will be last time. The back entrance door did not close all way huge security issue! Requested a crib and upon check in no crib even though I called day before to check. Not advise to stay here

  I've stayed at this hotel over the years and alway was very comfortable. However, I just drove acrosss country for personal business and a family emergency, not knowing they were under renovation I booked to the a King Size room in a per friendly hotel. Manu told me my room was not pet friendly and moved me from my comfortable room to one of these others saying they were better and more expensive.... I completely questioned his integrity immediately with that out right lie.... the updates are obviously not finished. This smell on this side of the the hotel burns, my dog is sneezing as I type this. I should leave, but I just drove 17hrs and after this process I just wanted a restful night in the room I paid for. I re-engaged Manu at the front desk explaining the immediate headache and burning smell from the paint. He offered me another room 2 doors down where it's even stronger. Also, the renovations look horrible. My door has a gap and light coming through, the lamp can't be turned off due to its broken switch, and it's cable is not accessible. The mini fridge and microwave look like an efficiency downgrade, as do the beds, the chair has a huge dent jn the seat and needs replaced, and the TV is so small! This downgrade room Manu said was an upgrade feels worse than a motel 6.

  Great value for the money

  We always stay at this motel when we are in the Denver area. It is clean, convenient and a great value for the money. We also enjoy the dinosaur theming. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are being updated and it was newly repainted in the halls. We stayed in a remolded room this time and it was very nice.

  The WiFi info was incorrect/inconsistent. There was a laminated info sheet in the room that said one thing and matched the room key cover. That network was not an option and the unsecured/no password guest network said “not trusted”. The same info sheet also stated copies and faxes were complimentary at the desk, but was told I would be charged $1/page. I saw that the pool was “heated and opened year round” online, yet it was actually closed for the winter. There were renovations taking place and they didn’t clean up the hallway or stairs after themselves. There were sharp pieces of wood and screws laying around. My room was upgraded, but the info sheet should have been pulled from the room or the complimentary printer availability should have been honored as it was the information posted in writing. The cable tv channels worked, but when I clicked on Netflix, it said the tv wasn’t on the network. They did provide 2 bottles of water at check in which was very nice, and the updated room was pretty nice with blackout shades. The overall decor was very outdated in the common spaces and the front desk staff used the new owner/mgmt as the excuse for the discrepancies I came across and didn’t really “put the guest first” or have the mindset of “the customer is always right”. I’m not one to normally leave this type of review, but I felt like my concerns and issues were ignored and brushed off in a way that was off putting. In my opinion, you should close while doing all renovations and reopen when the hotel is ready for business as a whole. It was definitely just ok and not too expensive, yet only a tiny bit cheaper than newer hotels in close proximity. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not great. The soaps and shampoo, etc could be a bit better, but there was a fridge and microwave which was also nice. If I stay in the area again, I will be staying somewhere else. At least until their renovation is complete and all info is correctly posted across the board.

  Missing Amenities and lying management

  Been staying at this hotel during hockey season for 9 years. Just stayed there this weekend and it is not the same. The website mentions amenities like “one of a kind, year round heated outdoor pool and hot tub”. Had some cool experiences being in the pool and hottub while it was snowing. This weekend, new management has taken this away closing the pool for the winter. However, the amenities they have taken away are not reflected on the website.Management refused to compensate or make it right. By the way we were treated and this situation was handled, we will never stay at this hotel again.
