    Basic hotel near the airport

    Stayed for three nights whilst attending a trade show in Madrid, this was a last-minute booking as my original hotel cancelled my early booking and then wanted an extra €1,000 to rebook. The hotel is located on a side street in the Barajas area. Midway between Madrid airport terminals 1-2-3 and terminal 4 but not easily walkable, so a short taxi ride away, as was IFEMA. Check-in was quick, and the reception staff in general were great, friendly and helpful.The room was small with three beds leaving little space and only one power socket for the room, the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but the room was clean and the WIFI worked well. Average shower, in general a basic hotel with no breakfast or other facilities available (unlike some of the photos shown on the booking site). Not good value for the £350 a night I paid, but it was during a conference, so I expect the prices are normally much more reasonable.

    The hotel looks a lot better on the photographs than it is in reality. The rooms are very sparse, with just a table and a chair. For a building located off a main thoroughfare, there was quite a lot of street noise. In fact, the whole hotel was noisy, which did not make for a good night’s sleep. Details which were disappointing were things like the television remote control being tied to the bedside table with a security cord, the absence of plugs in the bathroom, rendering it impossible to have a bath and stray hairs. All in all, I found the stay underwhelming.

    The location is ideal for a 1 night stay near the airport. But for £ 100 it is not value for money. Although it is in a seemingly quiet back street, there is traffic all night, especially taxis drop;ping off and picking up guests. Rooms have very thin walls, the neighbours chat can be heard clearly. My TV did not work at all. The WiFi was slow. The room was adequate in size and furnishings for a 1 night stay. Good bed. In the morning came the whammy, no breakfast at all available, not even a cup of coffee and bread. I had to walk about at 7.30 a.m. to find somewhere to have a little breakfast, more than just a coffee and croissant. Not good.

    Basic but clean and only 10 minutes from Madrid Airport. Quick check in and a decent sleep. Little tip - if you’re looking for something to eat head to La General - a little restaurant 5 min from the hotel - really good food

Dry Nice helpful and very good English I stayed just one night but I really appreciatedThe hotel by metro is one station from airport But the service is only from 6 am So I had to take the taxi as my flight was at 6am So all together very good hotel I recommend
