  I'm not going to bother with every shortcoming, but here are a few:1. Loud. Inside and from the street. The cheap plastic floor covering that looks like it was installed by Stevie Wonder is loud.2. The young woman who cleans the rooms unlocked our door and entered. No knock. I was in a two-bed room so it's not like she was entering a big dormitory.3. Desk personnel were rude and unprofessional. 4. Breakfast was cheap loaves of sandwich bread with butter, maybe some peanut butter or jelly. If you can afford to stay in Madrid you will want to pay a few euro for a real breakfast.You get the point. I have traveled to a lot of places. I don't require luxury. I do require civility and competence. This place falls short in every respect. It is the worst place I have stayed in all of my travels.

  Good infrastructure, but some problems

  The hostel infrastructure is not bad, but I had problems with people smoking in the room, and the staff didn't accept to move me to other room. The street can be very noise in some nights. The breakfast is poor.

  I have booked for 3 nights in this please but I left the hostel after 5 min because the reception was very rude , unfriendly and with out education . Really don’t stay there just for good location and bing cheep . They should learn for staying in this market they must be friendly and helpful .

  I don't recommend it, pay 5 euro more in any other place and im sure you will have a way better value than here.

  I am not pleased with the experience in this hostel. Specifically with the staff. (or the owner, not sure.. Because if that guy was my employee I would have fired him already) - towels are not included, you have to pay extra. Breakfast is bread, butter and instant coffee or juice. for 5 euro extra... And imagine how I feel if I pay the extra and go to have breakfast 2 minutes late and they tell you like "kitchen is closed" excuse... its not so classy, Is so low cost for them. They could have a little flexibility and win many points. Also after checkout at 11am, I went to the bathroom also have a shower and brush my teeth, it was 11:29 am and this guy was following me like I was a thief and kept saying "if you want to stay is 5 euro" I loved Madrid and the company but this guy was the worst part of my trip so far. And I never misbehaved or argued I was actually very nice to everyone. I have one tip for the owner of this place: - Fire this guy. Or if you are actually the owner consider an employee, it will improve your life and business a lot.

  We were 14 people visiting and 5 of us brought home bedbugs. Disgusting!Otherwise, the hostel is located perfectly and at a formidable price. Also, we enjoyed the 24 hour check-in, as we arrived around midnight.
