The aparthotel is located between Puerta de Alcala and Plaza Cibeles, 500 m from the Parque del Retiro and just a few steps from the art museums of the Golden Triangle (Museo del Prado, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza and Museo Reina Sofia). It is 600 m from Puerta del Sol and Teatro Real. The property is situated 15 km from Madrid Barajas International Airport and 1 km from the railway station.

Facility

The holiday apartments were built in 1906. The apartment hotel has 19 apartments, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe.     Well appointed well located apartment in Cibeles

    Well located self contained apartment at Cibeles.Full kitchen, large bedroom, full bathroom with plenty of hot water and luxury bath towels.Breakfast is available and was a good offering for the price.Staff were very helpful. Would stay here again

    We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We want to highlight particularly Anca, from the reception, who helped us check in and accommodated our family needs.The breakfast was decent, good value for money if you are hungry for a standrard breakfast fare (plus Spanish omelette and Pan Tomaca)The room size (Room 102) was good, it was what we needed as a family.

    Spacious Apartment with the amenities of a hotel. The location was great and we had a great city view from our windows. They have a great breakfast buffet if you want something quick. There is lots of restaurants around the hotel so no need to go far for a meal. I’d definitely come back.

    Fantastic location and room - but LOUD and deceptive pricing

    We booked the2 BR suite advertised for 6 people, for 4 days. First off be aware of the fine print - every room's rate is based on 2 people, even for a 2 BR suite that says it's for 6 people...so since we were a family of 4 we were charged an "extra person"rate of $25 per person, per day - effectively raising the room rate by $50 per day. I felt this was deceptive, since that detail took some digging in the fine print to uncover, and I didn't see it until after the room was booked. The room itself was great, except for the terribly uncomfortable pull-out sofa my daughter had to endure (there was an actual hole in the mattress she could fall into!) & the lack of area rugs - which wouldn't a big deal except the room above us didn't have any either, and every footstep reverberated like they were having a marching band practice up above. We had the bad luck of having a family with kids above us, and the running back and forth with nothing to mute the sound (going past midnight every night) was enough to make me never chance booking there again. Even without kids, I'm sure the people below us had a similar experience and were shaking their fists at the noise we were making - a few rugs would make all the difference. It's a shame, because the hotel is in a great location with a great amount of space in the rooms...just be aware that you may go insane with the noise and your room rate may be higher than advertised if you're more than two people.

    While an amazing location and well insulated for the busy street its on, thats where the ebenfits end.Its old, in need of serious repair and definitely way smaller than the photos it showed on the sites its advertised on.Its only worthy to stay if you want to be as close to Retiro park as we did but I wont look to rebook here on my next trips.
