  While the hotel is centrally located, it is so noisy, the walls are paper thin, and the lift makes an excruciating noise every few minutes. Staying here is not recommended if you want to get any sleep. On the plus side the rooms are clean but the decor is dated.

  The hotel is very basic but provided us with what we were looking for during our trip. It was clean and the maid came daily. Our main problems were the heat / aircon and the noise. The air-con was pointless it didn’t work at all and made quite loud noise when it was on so we found it hard to sleep due to being too warm. I wouldn’t recommend staying during summer due to this but if it is colder months or the year and you are just looking for somewhere simple it would be fine. The noise was the other problem - our room was right above a busy bar and even on the 7th floor was really loud from street noise. Again, if this is something you wouldn’t be able to sleep through I wouldn’t recommend. What I would say is the area is lovely. Really chilled out with nice bars, shops and restaurant - I found it much nicer than the central Gran Via area.

  Rooms very basic, our room had a broken sink with 3x cracks in it, but did have clean bed linen and towels, shwer was hot....aircon was good, kitchenette ok.? no kettle so used a pan. The male staff member that checked us in was rude and unhlpfull.Apparently all rooms in this place had.. ###" recently been refurbished??🤣🤣 " ### poor soap dispensers 1 of which was broken😅😅....***. " think green washing up liquid for soap " **** and the cheapest of toilet roll....We were here (all 128 of us for the Andre Rieu concert)....3x coaches..in total in this and the sister place/ hotel the Genova.My /our breakfast was poor and you had to go to reception for a " ticket for breakfast 🤣 " then leave the hotel and go to the tapas bar next door??....whats all that abou?Breakfast was €5 apparently...1xcoffee, 1 xjuice and 1x crossiont or 1x tostada😂 it was a joke really 😣😂😂....no bar in hotel? It was more like a hostel really...not God value for money...asvwe were within a group package it's difficult to work out costings for our stay 8th to 11th February 2022? Costs next week are approximately €67- €75 per night.....all in all not a happy person, would have not booked had we been coining independently. Would I stay here again/recommend? Not a hope in hell.

  The place is really DIRTY. Pretty much all walls had stains. It was missing the bed header, fridge, utensils, trash bin, etc. It is very noisy so you can expect to heard everyone talking or snoring. The location is good, but I would highly recommend you to find another alternative. You can do better with the same budget.

  This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Madrid. Terrible smell. No service. 1 iron for the whole hotel. Rude people that just want to get rid of you and do the bare minimum. Bed is too hard. TV is too small. Inconvenient system of using TV remotes for check in and check out which is only for the hotel’s benefit. Overall, there is a lot of choice in Madrid and so there is no point of choosing this hotel.
